The idea of Hunkydory Crafts began in 1990 as a wool and needlecraft shop in Preston Town Centre, founded by Ann and David Newhouse. They grew in size when they began supplying peel-off stickers for cards, and from there the small company exploded into Hunkydory Crafts, a papercraft company that sells products globally and is one of the UK's premier crafting companies. They hired two of their sons to help in the family business and have many in-house designers who design card making products and kits. They also have a Create & Craft TV channel and promote amazing products and ideas.
