This card was created for Scrapbook.com and features the Fruit Slices die. I embossed SBC white mixed media cardstock using my die plate and my Platinum 6. I wanted to watercolor only the flesh portion of the fruit and it was easier for me to do this by embossing my cardstock. I also die cut my frame twice, once on white cardstock and once using patterned paper from the Joyful patterned paper pad. The white die cut outlines the lemons and frames my card. I took the negative pieces from the patterned paper die cut and filled the gaps by paper piecing over the white space around the lemons. I love the look!
