There are some unbelievable techniques in this helpful video that you have to see. No longer will your reinkers only be brought out to refresh an inkpad - they'll be a star in your next inky creation! And you may have thought about adding water into your dye-based ink creations, but what about rubbing alcohol? It moves the ink around in a totally new way!
Wendy Vecchi walks you through several really original ways to get colorful, creative, and crafty in this lesson below!
4. How to Use the Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat - Tim Holtz for Tonic Studios
Of course, Tim Holtz makes our top videos list again this year - we just can't get enough of him (and you can't either)! The Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat is another 5-star rated fan favorite product, and for good reason - there's just so much to love about this versatile workspace. In 2019, Tim Holtz released an identical version for left-handed crafters, which made the dreams of lefty crafters all over the world come true.
But as they say, that's not all! Tim and Tonic also released both right-handed and left-handed versions of a smaller-sized Travel Media Mat. This travel-sized version packs all the same amazing qualities into a smaller, more portable version. Carissa Wiley covers all the possibilities in steel rule dies, dimensional fabric bows, gift tags, and even how to make a paper goodie bag - all with your die cutting machine.

2. 5 Stencil Techniques You Have to Try - Justine Hovey
Already in the list of top videos for the year were the Ink Blending Tool and our exclusive 6" x 8" stencils. In this fabulous video from Justine Hovey, she combines those two products and so much more to inspire and amaze! See her build gorgeously-hued layers with the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink pads, complete a simple heat emboss resist technique, and add shimmering designs with some Nuvo pastes.
You'll certainly want to get out your stencils (or order some new ones) after you check out her video below.
1. What Are Gel Plates and Why Are They Amazing? - Dyan Reaveley for Ranger Ink
Our top video for 2019 was from the engaging, original, and incomparable Dyan Reaveley. She captivated viewers on our channel throughout the summer and pops up not once but twice in our top video recap. Her tutorial on reusable gel printing plates, accompanied by her quick-drying Dylusions paints, had us all mesmerized and inspired. She made it unbelievably easy to create journal pages, backgrounds, notebook designs, and more (and never wasting excess paint!), all with gel shapes.
Once you see these super cool little tools in action, you'll be inspired to try them out yourself!
