Instructions: Select the nested die that you wish to use. Lay the die with the cutting edge down onto the front side of your paper or photo, in the position you wish to cut. Follow the instructions for your manual die cut machine to assemble the machine’s die cut “sandwich” of paper, die, cutting platform, and pads. Crank the die cut sandwich through your die cut machine to cut out your shape.
TIP: To use your nested variety kit dies to cut out a frame, first cut the inside shape that will create the center window of the frame. Then select a die one or two sizes larger, align it centered with the previous cut, and crank the paper through the machine again.

These dies are high quality. They are actually better quality then a lot of the nesting dies I own. (and I own a TON from many different companies) They are very sturdy and make a nice cut. The rectangles are great for making a frame for scrapbooking-the large is a 4" by 6" and the next size is great to cut for a frame!! Would definitely buy all of these if I did not own them.

I have wanted to invest in nested dies for quite some time now. The variety in this offer is phenomenal and so is the price. I do have other open wafer dies and was expecting them to be a little sturdier. Most performed well when cutting, but the largest rectangle, which is the one I anticipated using the most, seemed to show some warpage with just one pass through my Big Shot Plus. Time will tell if this deal is as good as I thought.
Even though I own quite a few small dies, I have been resisting nesting dies due to the cost, but this set solved that problem! I used them in my Cuttlebug and found they cut perfectly. There is a nice and well thought out set of sizes for each set. I really love the heart dies! They nest so well compared to a few others I have seen. The scallops are fun with just a slightly different shape to them again compared to others. I love they way they look as flowers! These are a very nice addition to my dies!

The rectangle oval and circle are smaller then I thought it would be for card making and I wish that all of them came with 6.

I have only ever known Umbrella Crafts to create outstanding quality products and these were no exception. I was grateful for the opportunity to get my hands on them and I find the size range in each nested set in the variety kit, to be really well thought through. Lots of care obviously went in to creating them and I'm sure I'll have these for years to come. I am happy to highly recommend each of the sets in the complete nested variety kit.

The sale price for this set made it a steal! I had never ordered or purchased anything from Umbrella Crafts before so wondered if, given the great price and all, if the quality would still be comparable to that of the more well known brands. I was very pleased to find no difference in quality. While I already owned some of these same nesties made by another company, I found that the UC ones had sizes that the other brand didn't. For example, the square nesties had a 4" square while my old set only went up to 3 1/4". The UC rectangle nesties has a 4" X 6" large die that I have used often for card bases. The scalloped circle die has a more pronounced scallop than my other set and I think because of this, it will be perfect to make quick multi layer flowers. Love this set!
What a treasure. I wanted these shapes for so long but the price just was to high until I ran into this deal. Its amazing what one can do with all these shapes of oval, squares, hearts, oblongs, circles, of dies, it sure enhances the cards. I love them and it was a good investment. Shapes can be used for so many different things you would be amazed and I am so happy I have them.
I just love the dies, they are great to use and fun at the same time, and sure stir up imangination. Anyway for me it does. Thanks

This price is for the bundle of dies. You use them in a die cutting machine, the most common is the Sizzix Big Shot but there are lots of different brands out there to choose from. You can see one in action in the video linked above.

There are 2 types of electronic die cutting machines. One type uses thin metal dies like the ones above. Those machines would be the Vagabond - Tim Holtz Die Cutting Machine by Sizzix, The Gemini - Electronic Die Cutting Machine, The Sizzix - Big Shot Express. If you have one of those, then yes the dies will work.
Is there anyone you had used it with Big Shot??? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Yes, I use them with my Big Shot, and they work fine, except a little sticky at first. Try using a layer of wax paper and a layer of dryer sheet to prevent the stickiness
