I know they are thin when compared to a very robust diecut like, for example, Spellbinders. The price of these is dramatically less than Spellbinders, believe me. I ran a few of the diecuts thru my Platinum manually and my Gemini Jr (electric) and they cut like a dream using CTMH cardstock and cheaper versions. No warping, no problems whatsoever. I liked the embossed look when I added the hole die in. If you're not a fan, I would just use a paper punch or my Crop-a-Dile instead.

I was a little disappointed when I used my die set. It leaves a slight impression near the area where the hole is cut. The top edge of the die is meant to fit the separate tag hole die and that edge is what is putting an impression on the tag. I love the sizes this set offers and would have given 5 stars if there wasn't a weird impression left from cutting out the tags.
I love Scrapbook.com and you can’t beat their customer service but I think this set is very flimsy. I used the biggest die and it is very bent after one use. Also, I had a problem with the little piece that cuts the hole putting an impression so that I had to use the back side of my mixed media paper. I also would have liked the dies to be narrower - similar to the Ranger #10 size which is what I was trying to find when I bought this set. To sum up - I love it that they offer this set but maybe they could tweak the material it is made out of and the piece that cuts the hole.
These are great to have for putting pictures on them and tucking them in a pocket on a scrapbook page. Friends loved using them.
Just what I wanted and more. I love making Prima Doll tags. This is the tag die I want and didn't know was any where. And I goy more reinforcement rings that look so darling in glitter gold.. I have ever size I want to put on any size card,
These tag dies cut very well. My only note would be that if you do not have a magnetic plate the insert to cut the hole will jump around.
Also just a note, although I should have looked at the dimensions closer, the large tag is VERY large & would be appropriate for scrapbooking pages.
I have been looking for the best tags for the bucks & finally found them. Ordering from scrapbook.com was easy and arrived as promised in cushioned packaging to prevent inury. Would recommend to other crafters.
I love tags so what is not to love about these. The only thing I would say is that it would be nice if it came with a protective sleeve like my Sizzix dies did. I thought that these were Sizzix also since this was a bundle but apparently not because it does not say so. I used the 2 smallest dies to make some takes to go into an embellishment box swap and they are just adorable. I did not use the hole punch which you have the option to use or not. The smallest tag is just too precious. It is about the size of a ticket...too too cute!!

Will these dies cut through chip board and can you use a cutter bug to cut these out?

Yes, you can use the your cuttlebug machine with these dies! We would not recommend cutting chipboard with these dies.

The four smallest dies should work well in the Sidekick. However, the other sizes would likely be too big as the Sidekick has an opening of approximately 2.75".

The largest die measures 4.5" wide x 8" long. If the cutting plates will accommodate the largest size, they will work beautifully.
