    Hi, I am new to the die cutting machine system.
    I have never used the machines or dies.
    I am a bit confused on embossing and de-bossing.
    It looks like she placed the die exactly the same way in the machine.

      Hello, thank you for reaching out. Stacy uses a unique set of die cuts that she has designed, including ones that cut and ones with a design that embosses the design rather than cuts it. To do this, she uses a unique set of plates called an Emboss and Transfer set. This allows you to change the sandwich so that the pressure from the machine is less, and this will allow you to emboss the image from the die cut with the die that has the embossing design sketched on it. The technique she uses can be used with other die cuts as well. She refers to the Emboss and Transfer Set at the squishy and the knock knock in the video, around 4 minutes and 20 seconds.
