This package of soft white clay for mixed media art is from Stamperia. This is white, extra light, soft modeling clay. It can be used to make 3D decorations from molds, it can be engraved, or you can make impressions on the clay with stamps. This clay can be air dried, drying time varies and it can take up to 24 hours depending on the thickness. There are approximately 80 grams of soft clay in this package.
This easily allows for details with silicone and clear plastic molds. User friendly and less physical strain on your body and your molds.
Love how lightweight this clay is. Wish it came in a larger package.
This clay works great for pins. I tend to layer a lot and by using this clay they don't become too weighty to wear.
I waited for more than 24 hours for it to dry. It did dry out eventually but it is still way too soft and doesn’t seem strong enough to hold the mould for a long time. Although the details came out very nicely but the product is very flaky and the details are falling off on the slightest touch. Won’t recommend it, total waste of money.

Can I use sprays on dry clay? What about watercolors?

Hello, yes, once the clay is completely dried you can use sprays and watercolors to add color and dimension.

Does the clay need a primer used before painting?

I really don't know. If you have some left over clay perhaps you could try painting it without primer and then use primer and see which works best.
