Are you tired of digging through bins, boxes, totes, and drawers to try to find your scrapbooking embellishments and other supplies? Stop digging in buckets and experience the joy of "flip and find."
The ScrapRack multi-craft portable storage system makes it easy to sort and store so you spend your time creating instead of searching endlessly for the right supplies. The ScrapRack has an expandable metal base which sits on your desk at a 45-degree angle. When it is fully open, the rack is 3 feet long and 13 inches deep. The angled design makes it easier to find your supplies quickly because you can flip from section to section to find your supplies.
Each ScrapRack Basic comes with 7 Spinders (ring size 1.5") and each Spinder will hold between 20 and 40 storage pages. The face of the ScrapRack base is covered with commercial-strength Velcro, to which the Spinders adhere. Please note that you will need to add pages, dividers and other accessories - each sold separately - to customize this for yourself and your needs.
Each package includes:
What a great system! I am 2 weeks into organizing everything in the hobby room, and I can really see the value of this system. There are embellishments that I haven't used in 10 years that are now front and center in the unit. Everything is in categories that I actually use regularly. I have freed up dozens of containers and drawers that I rarely looked in before. Now I have those contents in a useful area.
I love it the best investment i have made
I like the concept very much. But it does take up a lot of counter space. The reason I only gave it a four star was because of the Spinders. Even with them locked, my protector sheet would slide thru......I do wish that Tiffany would have made an 8 1/2'' X 11'' version.
I'll freely admit. I was on the fence when it came to purchasing a ScrapRack for a good long time. My arguments against were: 1) There's no way I have enough product to fill one. 2) $150 seemed like a lot of money to drop all at once. 3) I didn't really like the way it looked.
"There's no way I have enough product to fill one." When reading Tiffany's organization tips online, I considered myself a "got-a-little;" I've only been scrapping for less than a year. I thought having 7 spinders was excessive. Well, I'm not even finished sorting my stuff out, and I've already filled 4 spinders, working on 5. It really is amazing how different organization and "containerization" is. I've found so much product that I completely forgot I had. There are so many PROJECTS I've forgotten I was in the middle of. I've finished three pages and a mini album, reaching right for the products that I needed.
"$150 is a lot of money to drop all at once." This was honestly one of my big obstacles. I have two jobs. I don't make a lot of money. I might spend $100 on product in 3 or 4 months' time. I had to stop and think about how I wasn't buying product; I was investing in my craft room and my creative experience. I knew that my system (or lack of one) wasn't working; I had already been looking around at websites that gave tips on organizing your craft space. My outlook was make-do. Then I found Tiffany's tips on her site, and I loved the idea of being able to find anything that I could possibly need for a project in 30 seconds or less. I spent a ridiculously long time trying to find my product; I used to have stuff stashed everywhere. I'd take an hour or two to pack up one or two bags to go to a crop. I needed something new.
"I didn't really like the way it looked." This is still kind of true. I'm not a big fan of the way the ScrapRack looks in my space, but I absolutely LOVE how much more room I have in my space because of it. Honestly, it's grown on me quite a bit.
All that being said, there are some draw-backs.
The base is pretty small, but the whole of it is really kind of big. I mean, they tell you on the website how much room you need for the ScrapRack, but they focus more on how portable it is and how you can scrap at the kitchen table. I put mine together, and I was really surprised by how much space it actually takes up.
Even when I keep the spinders locked, sometimes one of the rings opens ever so slightly and my a couple of my inserts either fall out or get snagged. Thankfully it isn't all of the rings, and the inserts don't always come all the way off the ring. Just enough to be annoying.
Overall, love the product and what it's done for me and my space. The draw-backs are beyond minor. Whenever you take a look at other craft organization furniture/systems, you realize just how affordable the ScrapRack is. Even with purchasing all the inserts separately, you're getting something that has the ability to grow with you. You aren't confined to a specific amount of space. You can purchase other base units; you can store your spinders. The whole thing makes organizing a breeze. Best organizational purchase I've ever made.
Wish I would have just purchased this years ago-I have used several different organizing methods that I spent money and time on-but this is what I needed for the way I scrapbook all others didn't work for me. If you do purchase this though, make sure you add the spinder sleeves to your order- they are only a few dollars for the whole set, and a must especially if you have a lot of pages because the rings sometimes start to come apart with weight and the pages catch. The sleeves eliminate that problem.
I love my multicraft storage system it allows me to organize all of my scrapbooking items. I used to work for a dental implant company and I had something like one of these storage systems on my desk which I kept my catalogs, account information and other important papers right at my fingertips. This storage system just makes sense! Now I can see everything I have all in one spot.
I love the concept of this product, however one of my "wings" came bent. I made it work, but the binders don't seem to lock as well as they should either, but since I have already put so much into it, don't want to return it. It is getting me organized and is very helpful to use what I have. Love it!
I absolutely LOVE my Scraprack! I now have 6 base units with 42 spinders and they are all filled and organized! The organization that the Scraprack provides is pure heaven!!
I met Tiffany years ago, and even worked for her briefly at the Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, Texas. She is so lovely and helpful!
I would highly recommend the Scraprack!!

I love the idea of this product! I've bought multiples of stickers before because I didn't realize I already had them, so I love the idea of being able to flip through the pages (sold separately) and see what I have. Unfortunately, when this product arrived for me, I was testing the spinders and only one out of seven opened properly. I'm not sure if they got stuck somehow and can be fixed, or if they're simply broken.
I finally made the plunge and invested in this system. Oh how I LOVE it !!! Wish I had purchased it long ago as it makes my life so much easier.
I have strength issues and was struggling with other storage methods (boxes, 3-ring binders, etc., for my stamps and stencils) but was having trouble lifting them off of shelves. After continually dropping them all, I gave up, gave in and bought this. SO much easier to handle a page flip on a stationary system like this.
Yes, it took a while to organize and settle on a page placement system that works for my needs, but the variety of organizational videos I found on YouTube helped me configure my own. IF I find I'm looking for something in the wrong area, its easy enough to move that page to where it should have been all along. :) The variety of page storage styles to choose from for your particular sorting needs is really brilliant - its one of the other reasons I love my ScrapRack!
Yes, I set it up incorrectly, using the wrong part of the back's > and had the rack tipping forward on me. A few emails and photo/video exchanges with Leanne in Customer Service sorted out my error and voila - instant success and stability! (Just be sure to note where those tiny padded little feet are and set it down on that part! lol)
I SO wish I had another credenza to order another. <3
