This 12" Paper Trimmer and Scorer is part of the Card Shoppe Essentials Collection from Spellbinders. This trimmer includes one cutting and one scoring blade. This trimmer has a transparent cutting rail that accommodates both blades. This trimmer has rubberized feet to keep it in place while you cut. There is an extension arm on the left side of the paper that when closed cuts paper up to 6" in width and when opened cuts paper up to 17.25". The arm does click into place when not in use. There are easy-to-read measurements in both inches and centimeters on the trimmer base. The cutting and scoring blade can be easily changed. The blade is sharp, so caution should be used when changing the blade. Not for use by children. There are replacement cutting blades sold separately.
I have been looking for a new trimmer and this is perfect! I love the size and the arm comes out for larger paper. I use it everyday!
This is my 6th and last trimmer searching for the best. It's smooth, but most important, the size and markings are right. It accommodates an A2 size without opening. There are full measurement marks on the narrow side for those thin cuts. PERFECT!
Love this multifunction paper trimmer and paper scorer. Over the years I've had a few of them have used alot. It was time for replacement. I got this trimmer based on a fellow crafter's recommendation. It is nice and well made, and strudy. It cute very nice and straight. It scores paper really well. I also got this trimmer for making envelopes to go along with my handmade cards. I am also glad that Scrapbook.Com had the replacement blades as well. I am very happy with this purchase at a good price.

Does this trimmer cut perfectly straight fo 12"x12", i.e., it does not slide paper a tiny bit ? I have 2 trimmers that I usually end up with a "warped" cut, such as 1/16" or 1/8" difference between the two ends.

Are the 1/4, 1/8, etc. etched in black? Specifically, stamped measurements, meaning not just the lines but actual measurements inked on the ruler? Not sure I'm explaining correctly ;)

Does the extension arm lock into place? When the extension arm is out is it smooth & straight across the platform or does it dip down slightly? Does the trimmer slide around on a glass mat or does it have feet?

Hello,
Does it have any kind of lip on the right side of the trimmer? In other words can you slide the paper to the right for small cuts without having to lift the blade track to get it out? Hope this makes sense.
