I've very pleased with these and they were perfect to add the finishing touches to a couple of important projects. I am using them with a Sizzix Big Shot rather than a Spellbinders project which is probably why they don't quite work as expected: I get a great impression with the embossing part of the dies, but they don't quite cut through the papers all the way around the die. They do leave a very easy to follow impression that I can cut out, though.

I stumbled upon this die set and they were just what I needed and the price was amazing! Their measurements are accurate too. I passed them through the Big Shot and the details (flower on the sand dollar and the seahorse's stripes) did not emboss. I tried different weights of paper and card stock and nothing worked. Later I tried using a thicker piece of card stock as a shim and this brought out a bit more detail. I don't have any fancy shims so will just use an extra piece of card stock from now on.
Adorable. I like the size of each, and the embossing. They will be a great tool for my mermaid & 'beyond the sea' projects.
Cuts well. A nice addition to my large ocean themed cards.
I really like Spellbinders dies. They cut nicely and release without trouble for the most part. This one is a great addition to my aquarium theme.
