Just-Wow! These dies are great! I have some smaller edge punches, but with these dies, I can just put them on a strip of whatever color/patterned paper/cardstock I choose and then attach them to any card I want. These dies are great! There is a lot of pattern variety to choose from, and they even work well together. I have used them for border cutting so far, and layering strips. Their only limitation is size; I can’t cut on 12x12 paper with my big shot…but they are working well for background elements and cards.

These are really cute border dies! Many of the larger scalloped dies are abled to be layered with the solid scallop border. Love adding these to cards, scrapbook layouts and mini albums.

I love the variety of different borders. The long length is nice because I can cut it down to the size I want. Sometimes I cut one piece into multiple pieces for cards. Which saves me time. I like that they aren’t overly ornate. That makes these work well with any occasion, feminine, or masculine cards.
These are a nice set of border dies to make slimline dies. It is a great addition to my collection because the longer dies are not easy to find at a reasonable price. They are not flimsy and a good value!
I purchased these border dies to use in making my 5 x 7 greeting cards because all the other border dies I had weren’t long enough. I don’t currently make slimline cards, but they are great for my uses. They cut cleanly, and are really nice designs.
I enjoy making lovely feminine cards with lacey edges. These dies are beautiful, and cut so precisely, it makes the job easy. This is a lovely set to make a number of decorative cards.

Do the Slimline dies and papers work in the Spellbinder Grand Caliber - if so, do I need different/special plates?

I've seen some videos and apparently all you would need is your base plate and cutting plate. These dies are 8.5 in long, so make sure your plates are at least that long or longer.
