I really like the new Decorative die set. It takes time to make sure you get a good sharp cut so the tiny hearts and pieces come out. I layer 3 sheets of card stock between my magnetic thick platform and the small black cutting mat. Then I used a standard acrylic plate on top of die.. This needs to be experimented with as all machine are different.
This set is uch fancier the dies look online and crisp cuts. I highly recommend it.
I'm a lot dissapointed with this purchase. I got all excited with the sale. Didn't read the discription on the fancy circles, there really just rings. The larger ones don't cut out well, even passing through a couple of times, there was a part uncut. The boarders cut out well, but I didn't have the extended matt, so the end part didn't cut. Ordered some extended plates, and that might help with fancy circle dies.
I love my new die set. I don't buy many like this because they are too expensive but this special was a win win for me I love Scrapbbok.com

The circle dies have been on my wish list for a while and when this fabulous sale of BOTH sets came along, I had to jump on it, and so glad I did. The border dies are larger than I realized, great for scrapbooking AND card making...lots of heart confetti. :-) The circle patterns are lovely. Thank you SB.com!!
