I have a wonderful non stick pair of scissors for years that are perfectly fine.
But as I watch well known YouTube videos they all rave about scissors like these. So I decided to treat myself.
You don’t know how much you need these. It brings fussy cutting to a whole new level.
It is particularly good on rounded areas like circles as they provide a continuous cut, and removes those herky jerky points you don’t want on a circle. Great purchase, great product.

Great scissors for those with hand problems! I am amazed at how much I like these scissors. The spring action is wonderful and it makes fussy cutting so much easier. I have hand problems (carpel tunnel/arthritis) and grasping things can really hurt. Well, my hand doesn't ache after using them! I especially like how they 'lock' when you're done and they have a cap for the blades. Another well thought out and quality product from SBC.com!
I received these in my Christmas stocking because my husband thought they would be easier for me to use because of a bad thumb, was he right!! SHHHH, just don't tell him! I have easily cut several different things in my craft room today and have no pain. I had to stop what I was doing to write this review. :)
Ok - your reviews got my attention and now I am sold on these spring action scissors! I tried a pair of these type of scissors several years ago. It was after my recovery from hand-wrist repair surgery. (Sound familiar??) I didn’t get a pair of the spring-actions back then but now I am - a pair is in my shopping cart. I can see easier fussy cutting days ahead! Thank you to all who posted a review!
These little scissors are incredibly easy to use. Not having to open the blades after a cut is a blessing for these arthritic hands. They handle fussy cuts like a dream. Why did I not get these sooner? I love that they come with a protective cover to keep the blades clean and sharp. This is a great product!
These are great! The name says it all. They are comfortable in your hand and your hand doesn't tire out after hours of cutting. When I have a lot of "fussy" cutting to be done, I will sit in front of the TV cutting. My hand was sore at all. I love too that there is a blade cover and a lock switch to keep them closed. Buy them now you won't regret it!
Due to arthritis in my hands, especially my thumbs, it hurts to hold regular scissors to cut, especially "fussy" cutting. These spring loaded scissors are perfect! The pressure is applied on the outside of the grip and they can be used either hand (I'm left-handed). The blade cover is an added bonus. I'm so happy!!
Love the feel and ease of use of these scissors, only thing I find negative is that they do not come to a sharp point. There are just times you need that.
I have some issues with strength in my hands. They make it easier for me to cut.

Hi, I've seen these "spring action precision scissors" before, being advertised. Looking at other peoples comments, and how much they love these, is making me wonder? I use scissors almost everyday, and I now have roughed up hands, because of it. Would these spring action precision scissors, be better for my hands?
Hello, these scissors are easy to use and nice on the hands as you do not have your fingers resting up against finger holes like on traditional scissors. Also, when using the scissors you will find that you move your paper/material rather than the scissors themselves.

I purchased 2 pairs of these “sell-out fast” scissors. These are designed for both left and right handed people. The handles and spring action release make them very easy to use. I have the same type of scissors from another company (which I love them also). These come with a sheath to help protect the very sharp and pointed blades which can nip a tiny thread and slice through paper like “a hot knife through butter”. Grab at least 1 pair if not two. You will not be disappointed unless you don’t move fast enough to grab them before they are sold out again.
