Get your grid on with the Make Art Perfect Stamp Positioner Set from Wendy Vecchi for Ranger Ink. The package includes a stamp positioner set that has a magnetic acrylic L square and an acrylic block with grid lines. The plate measures 4.75" x 3.75" and the L-shaped bar measures 3" x 4".
I bought this because the right angle stamp positioner part has magnets in it so when you are working on a steel plate such as the Wendy Vecchi Make Art Station that you can use it with wood blocks or cling stamps on acrylic blocks and it will not shift. I haven't used it yet but I was disappointed that it is so small, especially along the short side.
The idea (I think) is that you position the acrylic sheet inside the L piece and inking your stamp with an easily washed off ink (don't use permanent), stamp your image on the acrylic. Then position the acrylic anywhere on your project to see where you want to stamp. Place the L piece around your acrylic sheet again, remove the sheet. Ink up your stamp block with the real ink you want to use, and let the L piece gently guide your stamp into place.
If your stamp can fit on the block it's perfect. I will be getting the small Make Art mat as the magnets stick to my We R memories mat but not right and it does move if you hit the corner block.
Looking forwarding to using this with both my Make Art board and my stamping platform.

I really like this stamp set, makes it so easy to create perfect stamps every time, with less effort. Glad I purchased it.
Very clear and I like the grid lines but I found this doesn't line up sentiments very well. It seems distorted because of the thickness of it. Heavy Acrylic from packaging material would work better I think. I was disappointed. Will keep trying it.
For the price it was a whole lot smaller than it looked on line. Not happy with this product at all

Does this positioner come with the stamping block as well as the L shaped tool? How large is the stamping block? Thank you.

The tool comes with the L shape and positioning block. The positioning block measures 4.5" L x 3.5" W.

The video shows three items, the L shape, the thicker grid acrylic, and a thin piece of acrylic. Does this package come with all 3 items?

It comes with the l-shaped piece and the thinner piece of acrylic with the grid. The thicker piece of acrylic shown in the video is a stamp block, sold separately if you need one. I bought this mainly to use with stamps I own that are on wood blocks, so I didn't need that piece. The positioner will work with any square or rectangular block you already have.

Can this be used in the tim holtz stamp platform?

This tool is not meant to be used with any sort of platform stamper not Tim's or the Misty etc... This is a tool that is used on its own to stamp out your image so it is not crooked on your project base. The platform type of stampers are great for multiple stamping or if you didn't quite get the ink down the 1st time you stamped your image you can go back in and re-stamp multiple times.
