This cardstock was recommended as being great quality for using markers and watercolors, It works great. I have orders it multiple times and am using it to stamp, then cut out using dies and the Cuttlebug. The weight is good and is exactly what I wanted.
Having the choice of using the smooth or textured side is a huge plus!
I like using this for cards. I don't think it is as good as regular watercolor paper, but it can take a fair amount of water, and it is white. A lot of watercolor paper is ivory. It has a nice texture and is sturdy.
I can't believe how awesome this 'paper' works with everything I attempt!!! LOL Way FUN!
What I expected, special purpose paper
This item was cancelled from my order after my order was confirmed. I'm hoping to reorder soon, anxious to try it out.
First time using this product. I've used a couple of pieces, but I'm not sure I'm drying it correctly.
Easy to blend or mix watercolor paints. Not as toothy as others but good for coloring and cutting die cuts
Beautiful watercolor results, thick and substantial too. Buying more.
Wish there were bigger packs available. Never without this stuff.

Hello. The cardstock is specially formulated for most watercoloring and mixed media techniques. It could be embossed but it is a bit thicker.

Can you use Ranger Ink - Tim Holtz - Adirondack Alcohol Ink Cardstock with the Ranger alcohol inks?
The item shown above is Watercolor Cardstock and is NOT recommended for alcohol inks because the ink will just absorb into the watercolor cardstock. You can use Ranger Tim Holtz Alcohol Cardstock, Yupo, and Dura-Lar for alcohol inks.

Distress Watercolor Cardstock will absorb too much of the Alcohol Ink it is best to use surfaces that are meant to be used for Alcohol Inks. Coated papers such as Glossy Cardstock, Hardcore Panels, Foil Cardstock and Yupo are great surfaces to work with as well as glass, metal and glazed tiles. Any type of non-porous surface should work.

As this is a heavy watercolor/mixed media paper, it will likely not be the best in a printer.
