I am new to Bible journaling and after watching, some great people on YouTube, I learned this item is wonderful for prepping your Bible pages to prevent bleeding through to the back of the page. I didn't want a huge jar of this, and this is just the right size. It works well and is worth the price. I would recommend it to everyone.
Love this Gesso Clear by Art Basics from Prima. It is not gritty. I do bible art journaling, so I work on very thin paper. I am able to apply 2 coats of this product on my paper and have amazing results. This is my go to clear gesso when working with very thin paper!
This is a good quality gesso that is worth the price. Nice and thick it covers nicely and has a great base.
Purchased for Bible journaling. Little to no bleed through. Pencil erases. Dries quickly. Have used colored pencils, watercolor pencils, watercolors and Copic markers. All did very well.
I purchased this gesso for my Bible art. The previous brand I had used was too gritty. Prima's gesso is silky smooth, drys fast and takes only a little to do the job. I'm having a ball using it. I can't believe I waited so long to switch to Prima Art Basics clear gesso.
I love this clear gesso. It's the best one out of several that I have tried! I just wish they sold it in a bigger size because I use it a lot. Love it!
I love this gesso because it doesn't have the rough texture of so many brands. This dries smooth, but still has plenty of "tooth" to grip your acrylic paint. My new favorite brand!
Every project needs this! I'd score it higher if I could! I always prime with this (paper- not just canvas). I even used it on wooden Ikea chairs I wanted to paint a different colour- was the perfect primer for that project too!
I love this product by Finnabair. I use it all the time. A quick coat on tags, scrapbook pages, ephemera, & it gives a bit of body & especially “tooth” to most projects. Mediums like paint, collage, pencil, stencil work all do better & don’t sink or bleed thru into the base paper. It will also tap down too high a surface shine for a more matted look.
