Description & Details

This four piece thin metal die set, Mini File Folder, is from Paper Rose. This die set features dies to make a file and mini file folders to fit into them. The file folders each have a tab on them and a line in the middle for folding. The file folders fit perfectly into the file. These can be decorated in any way you wish and are going to look so cute when finished. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). Due to the intricate nature of these dies, a metal shim (sold separately) may be required. These dies can be used to hold pictures, announcements, and more. The finished file folder measures 0.629" wide x 1.57" high x 1.18" deep and the files measure 1.57" x 1.18" when closed.

Questions & Answers
  • The measurements appear to be very small. Are they correct?. The files wouldn't be any bigger than my thumb.   By: denise eger (10-Sep-22) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • This is a set with one file holder and 3 file folders with the tabs in different positions. The folders fit into the holder. The width of the opened up file holder die is 4" x 2". The file folders are apx 1-5/8th x 2-5/16 Of course the file folders will be folded in half to make a folder of 1-5/16th x 1-5/8th. These measurements may be off by 1/8th or so. I have cut all 4 pieces, they are very realistic. the assembled file holder is a smidge over 1/2" wide x 1" tall. I have quoted the measurement of the dies themselves, not the finished, cut pieces. I do 1inch to 1foot scale miniatures and this set is in scale. By: lglgal (11-Jun-23) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • The picture shows 2 sizes, a small size and a larger set. Which set does this die set make?   By: Becky Papercrafter (10-Jun-23) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • The set is very small but it's darling. The four pieces are 3 folders with the file cut for the name of the folder in 3 different places (right hand side, center and left hand side). The piece above the folders in the picture is a file folder holder. Such a darling set. I made these and put them in small paper Easter baskets for my grandchildren. I decorated the inside of each folder with tiny words and stickers, hearts and flowers. . By: Max5787 (11-Jun-23) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
