Add sparkle to cards, layouts, crafts, home decor, and mixed media projects with the Clear Rock Candy Distress Stickles Dry Glitter by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. This glitter is unique in that it has variegated glitter sizes. Use it with Ranger Ink Sticky Embossing Powder, Inkssentials Wonder Tape or any other adhesive (all sold separately). This product is acid-free and non-toxic and comes in a 3 ounce jar.
I love using this dry glitter to make my own sparkly paper. It sticks well with the SBC double sided adhesive sheets and doesn’t come off. I hate glitter bomb someone with a card! You can also still see the image behind the glitter, which is important. I can also still adhere elements to the card front on top the glitter.
This yummy glitter is just white. No colored sparkles, just white which makes it perfect for snow or even for highlighting. It is reflective so you do get sparkle. Also works great as a shaker element. I’m glad I finally decided to invest in this product.
This product is really great when you are layering glitter.
Have used this on my Christmas cards these last few days. Mixes well with Scrapbook.com 's Cloud Whip for making snow!! Makes embossed snow flakes stand out. Great product!
This works great on winter projects if you like to have a bit of snow!
My favorite glitter. I reached for this glitter more than any other. It’s more of a rustic type glitter, it sparkles but gives that frost ice look to your project without looking too artificial or plastic like some other glitters. It’s adds a beautiful touch to cards and other projects.
Have not used this yet, but after seeing a video using them I can't wait.
I used this work the SBC double sided foam and it adheres so well. Once on, no excess glitter falling.

How do you use dry glitter? Does it just stick to ink? do you need glue or adhesive?

The dry glitter does need an adhesive. Use it with Ranger Ink Sticky Embossing Powder, Inkssentials Wonder Tape or any other adhesive.

I'm hoping someone can tell me if this product can also be used with die-based inks as well? Thanks for your help!

The problem with dye based inks is that they dry right away and so the glitter has nothing to stick to. So if you want a certain color in the dye ink you are using, what I would do is stamp it in your color, then stamp again in versamark which is clear and then take this product and sprinkle over that and that may bring your color out.

If you're concerned with dye-based ink bleeding, it would depend on the adhesive you use when adding the glitter. I would do a trial run before adding it to my project.
