I'm new to Stickles. Once you get the idea on how to use them they're great. I love the gold. I bought it for a specific layout and can't wait to use it again. The title of the layout, Baby, was cut from some ephemera type paper that represented vintage baby announcement cards. I could tell that the original old card probably had gold glitter lining the letters. I thought that would be cool if I could do the same thing. So came on SB to look and here was this new gold stickles product and so I ordered it. The Stickles worked perfectly well. The title really stands out now and I lined a couple other things with it as well. Can't wait to use it again.
This was the second color stickles I bought.. I have to say I totally love with this color! It really pops out on any page no matter how much of a little or big amount you use.. This is another color that is a MUST HAVE!!! Another highly recommended stickle color!! ~ Yes.. they are addictive!!!
Used in this project: Albert.. You are
This color is a deeper gold then the regular gold. It is just what I need for my daughter senior year layouts. Her school colors are black and gold and this one works much better than the plain gold.
I use this a lot, mostly around paper edges. It will give layouts a sort of storybook/fairytale feel if you put it on top of your normal Distress-inked edges. This gold looks more antique than the "Gold", but both are lovely. If you love bling and metallics, this is a "must-have" in your supply.
I made an album for a friend who loves "bling" and I laid it on thick! Great for covering chipboard. I even covered ribbon with it to make a glittery strip boarder. Love it!
I really like this Golden Rod color of Stickles it works well for a guy layout plus for a vintage Christmas/ New Years theme project.
I have used stickles on so many craft projects and I couldn't create without them. Beautiful colors for any theme!
All that glitters can even be Golden Rod! This is a richer, deeper gold - great for enhancing jewel tones.
I love these little bottles of dynamite, I have used them for years, starting with my handmade Christmas cards one year i.e. red berries on holly wreath, center of snowfalls, then I started to add bits of sparkle on flowers, etc etc. This is a great color, a deeper antique gold.
Would recommend for easily adding that extra touch to scrapbook pages or cards!
