I purchased these ink cubes to try out Pinkfresh Studio inks. I definitely wish I would have purchased the full size ink pads. I have been sampling several of the known quality brands, and Pinkfresh may be my new favorite. Beautiful colors, easily saturates the stamp, and most importantly crisp results.
I bought these ink pads to try the colors and because they are easy to use with layering stencils and dies. The shades are great, but some ink cubes arrived dry! They would work for beginners to give the ink blending a try, but not to make plenty projects. I would prefer to buy a full size ink pad from the same company or other companies
I really wanted to love these Pinkfresh ink cubes but the pads were on the dry side. I do not have any re-inkers so that will be an expense to me a lot sooner then anticipated. Stamping from pad to paper showed that the pads were dry and I tried them with stamping, using a well loved stamp and the first impression gave a blotchy, unsaturated and unclear image that has to be stamped over at least a few times to get a fully saturated image. This is unacceptable as these ink cubes are brand new and never been used before. The Pinkfresh colors are so beautiful but they really should make sure that they check their quality control for a more saturated ink pad.
I am slowly building up my collection of these fabulous inks. I love purple and these four colours are a perfect quartet that cover light to dark shades of purple. That the inks are petite and travel easy is a wonderful bonus!
These colors work well the Heroscapes Lavender Fields stamps.
I bought a few of these ink cubes in sets of coordinating colors. I like that they’ve already decided what colors go together (I’m never good at that). So far I’ve enjoyed using them and may decide to get them in the full size ink pads.
