The book itself was not damaged but the plastic cover. The book is a great value and would highly recommend to anyone who would ask.
This album was great for the family vacation memories. There were 14 people who took pictures and the memory album contained 450 pictures with 50 top loading sleeves and this album held it all together perfectly. The construction of the album is top notch. I was a little concerned about the size of the opening on the front of the album, there weren't any details, but it is a 4x4 opening and held a 4x6 print perfectly after a little trimming. The album looks more expensive than it is....a must have!
Decent 3 ring binder for the price, not too fancy, but does the job! Definately no complaints.
I ordered the wrong size (12 x 12) by mistake and my sister-in-law may buy one or both binders. I just reordered two of the 8 1/2 x 11, which is what I need. These are very nice binders for the money.
This is a nice, strong album. Good value for the price, the rings are non-snagging and hold a good number of pages. The spine is a little wider than other brands which reduces crowding.
This binder is cheap and unattractive, don't waste your money.

Is this a round or D ring album? I know it doesn't come with clear page protectors. Does it come with 2 thick plastic half "pages" to keep all the page protectors flat and in place?

As stated below, the spine is 3" wide. The binder could hold from 25 - 50 page protectors depending on the thickness of what's put inside.
