      Greatest Invention Since Ice Cream!

I love these. I have converted all my post bound albums to the Snap Load system. It is very easy to take apart, switch the order of your layouts, add, subtract layouts or add refill pages. It is super easy to expand your albums, yet it hold everything together nice and tight I usually keep several of these ahead. I can't believe I ran out!!!

      Genius!!

Oh my goodness- genius!! These little plastic bits are super easy to install (read okispice's review for perfect instructions- the box is kind of complicated). And All of the Sudden, you have space in your album! Talk about a money saver. $5 for these extensions saves you $20 on a new album. Keep in mind that you can fit at least 3 albums worth of layouts in one, and you have an even bigger savings.

So much better than posts and extensions... I STRONGLY recommend this product!!

      Screw that!

Why didn't I know they made these before? I had been spending time screwing and unscrewing to add more pages that leaned to the side and what not.

I am glad that I got these and need to make a second order as I have so many albums that I want to add a couple of more pages too!

Pioneer is a stand up product, screw those screws between the albums.

      Great idea!

I "ditto" all the good things people said about this. The reason I gave it 4 (and not 5) stars is that I notice the bigger I expand my album the more wobbly it gets. The posts seem to hold it more steady than the straps do. Also, the adhesive on the clip parts is pretty lame--get a couple mini glue dots to help hold it to your album more securely. (If you don't have mini glue dots--you should!! They're great for EVERYTHING. LOL) Oh, and the written instructions are confusing--check out the video listed with this product here and it'll make it so much easier. TAKE CAREFUL NOTE of which way the ridges are supposed to be facing--if you do it the opposite way, the straps won't want to stay snapped in place when you try.

      Amazing Little Things!

I have always favored post bound albums, because I like to have my 2-page layouts continuous (right up next to each other). And, I like to be able to switch pages around and expand my albums. I don't create my scrapbook pages chronologically (rather, what inspires me while I'm scrapping), but I do keep all the pages from one year together randomly in one book.
The Snap Load system allows me to easily add pages, move pages around, and lets my albums hold TONS of pages without looking awkward or wobbly. It is fabulous! I'm changing ALL my albums over to Snap Load, and I recommend it to everyone I can!

      I love the snapload system!

I first got the snapload system on QVC some time back and tried them and have been hooked ever since. I just love not having to deal with posts and trying to find longer posts for my post bound albums.

This system is so easy to put in your albums and they allow more pages to be put in my albums. I would reccomend them to everyone and in fact I have been doing that ever since I purchased my first ones.

Try them you will like them and never go back to the old way of holding pages in your albums.

What a difference - wonderful product!!

I recently ordered these to try--having made my dd's pre-wedding album WAY to big LOL!!! I finally got them swapped out today- and I LOVE this product!! I will definately order more and start converting all my albums. I like the directions that Okispice wrote up -- very good. Personally I think next time I will put the plastic tabs onto the binding before threading the straps through, rather than the other way around. Anyway you do it, it's well worth doing, the book can be expanded instantly next time you add pages. No more messing with all these tiny metal screw extensions!! Toss them all!!

      Say goodbye to screw posts

These little peices of plastic are absolutely the best! No more messing with screwdrivers and adding extension posts with the Snap Load bindings. Once you replace your posts with this product, your pages will lay better, turn better and you can easily add in more pages anywhere you want. Double page layouts look better together, too, with no gaps between the pages! The instructions that come with the set are not very easy to follow so I'm going to help you out.

Just take out the posts and throw them away. Don't bother with the instructions on the pack for leaving the posts in place. Now take all your pages and thread the straps through them. The straps are flat and have a smooth side and a ridged side. With the pages laying on the table, the ridge side should face center of the book. I know you want to thread with the ridges faceing up or down, but the ridged straps need to face each other. Now get the mounting locks. Peel off the backing and you will see that they each have a little bumpy snap at the back on one end. Place those snaps inside the album holes where the screws were so that the long end of the lock is facing down for the top holes and up for the bottom holes. Now thread the straps through and press them into place. If you made your book too tight or loose, you can easily adjust them at any time.

      Pioneer-Scrapbook Binding System-Snap Load

I am in the process of putting together scrapbooks for each of my nieces and nephews (for Christmas), and I want to add as many pages as possible to each scrapbook without expanding the books to such a degree that they don't shut correctly. I like the metal posts (extenders) that I have purchased in the past, but they only allow me to a add a few additional pages. When I read about the Pioneer Snap Load Binding System I was intrigued. It seemed as if quite a few more pages could be added without affecting the album's ability to lay flat. Since I'm currently working on a dozen different albums for my nieces and nephews, I went ahead and ordered six of the Snap Load Systems. So far, I have installed three in the albums. Here are my initial impressions of the product:

      Pros:

      (1) The product is easy to install.

      (2) It is VERY easy to add/move/delete pages from the albums, which I REALLY liked.

      (3) The Snap Load System allows you to add several more pages to your albums which can save both money and space by reducing the number of scrapbooks needed.

      (4) As long as you don't add too many pages, the pages will lay correctly and the albums will close flat.

      Cons:

      (1) The Snap Load System Binders are very flexible so if you add too many pages, the albums aren't very secure. (They are a little "floppy".) With some of my nieces/nephews' albums, I only needed to add a few pages to complete the story (i.e., "My Childhood"; "Early Adulthood"; "My Wedding"; etc.) so the Binders worked great. For other books, the Binders were't strong enough to accommodate all the pages I needed to add so I ended up having to divide the pages into two separate albums (i.e., "The Early Years", birth-12; "The Teen Years", 13-18; "The College Years", 18-22; and "On My Own", 22+). Both methods worked well. Maybe there's a way to strengthen the albums so more pages can be added without them feeling so flimsy... I'm not sure...

      (2) The glue on the Snap Load System Binders isn't very strong. I had to add duct tape to the edges of the Binders to keep them securely attached. It's not too pretty to look at, but since the Binders (and duct tape) are hidden within folds of the covers, it's not a huge issue. The important thing is for the Binders to hold to the albums.

Overall, I would recommend this product to other scrappers. Just be aware of the limitations. (P.S. If anyone finds a way to add lots of pages without the albums becoming too flimsy, please share! Thanks!)

      Snap Load

Love, love this product. NEVER use anything else. I hate trying to remove those screws and then getting them back in after you load the pages!!!
The only thing is that the Snap Load is expensive when bought one at a time. Several years ago I bought 15 in one package that was considerably less per item than buying them one at a time.
Would love if you would carry the multiple packs, I'll bet you could sell more due to the savings. I do three or four scrapbooks a month and I'll bet that other scrapbookers do so also.
