This package contains one wire snip tool from Lawn Fawn. This wire snip has the classic Lawn Fawn color and the Lawn Fawn logo on it. These wire snips are made to cut apart your die sets. Their spring action and sharp blades will help cut apart your dies easily and conveniently. The snips have a protective plastic tip that needs to be replaced when not in use.

The tools I had at home didn't do a good job cutting the tiny bits of metal attaching my nesting dies to each other and my hands were repeatedly getting cut. Enter the wire snips, and the problem is solved!

My blades haven’t dented and this product cuts dies fine. I wish they were a bit sharper, but they work and were relatively affordable.
Works well, much easier & more convenient than separating dies by twisting.
Used to make 5 different cuts on connected dies and blades already dented. Don’t buy!!
I was so excited to get a good tool to separate thin cuts. The product use shows that is what they are for. The first time I was using them the tip on one side of the tool broke off. So if you buy the tool, you might not want to use them on thin cuts. Really bummed.
I found this tool difficult to cut my new aluminum die cuts.
The blades dented with continual use. Plus one of the blades of my pair actual broken off when using it to remove a die from the set.
I have a die set that I haven't been able to use, so I needed these cutters. I haven't used them yet, though.

Can these wire snips cut carbon steel dies that are joined together?

Hello, these snips are made to be used on metal dies. We have not tested on carbon dies.
