Can 1 of the doodlebug protectors hold 2 pages back to back? So if I buy a box of 12 will that be enough for 24 pages?

Yes, as long as they aren't super thick pages they will work perfectly for that. However, they only load from the front side. Hope this helps!

Yep, they are side loading. The side closest to the rings is where you slide your pages in. :)
