I love the quality of this album!! I was making 12x12 albums for my kids but recently switched to 8x8, due to space constraints (plus the cost of the smaller sheets with PL is cheaper). I had purchased this same album from a different company, and while it was cheaper, the shipping took forever :-( with that said, I will purchase this same album from Scrapbook.com when I am ready to do my youngest son's album! LOVE the fact that it comes in black too!!
I like the quality of this album and the convenient design to store pages. It is easier to add pages and re-arrange with ease if I made a mistake. I love the album!

Can you tell me how big the binding is on this book? I need to fit about 150 clear plastic sheets into the album with recipe cards.
The spine of the album is about 2 7/8 inches wide. I had empty pages on hand to experiment with filling it to 150, and could have added a few more. It will depend on how you finish your book. For example, if you are scrapbooking 150 pages, using card stock or scrapbooking paper, and with the recipes on cards as well, you may find the added bulk won't work. If you have 150 recipes, however, and are using the divided pages where you can insert two cards on each side, without adding extra paper, cardstock or embellishments, you'd only need 38 pages, adding more pages for recipes where you want to read both sides of a card without removing it from the album. I'm not sure to am exact measurement for the binding but I know it can fit more than 100 pages, I want to say it should be able to fit 150. Hope that helps!
