This package includes 1 thin metal die designed by Sue Wilson for the Festive Collection from Creative Expressions. This die includes the phrase "Have a Joyful Christmas". This die is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This die measures 2.55" x 2". This scripted/upper case letter die can be used as the main image on a card front or it can be used as a greeting to finish off your Christmas projects. This die can be matched with so many of the products from this Festive Collection (sold separately) and the possibilities are endless.
This die has beautiful script and cuts great.
I like the font of the die. The die cut through regular cardstock with about 4 passes. It did not work with adhesive backed sparkly paper. I tried it with wax paper, a Magic Mat cutting plate and a cardboard shim and extra passes through the machine but none of these adaptations worked. My best option for the adhesive backed paper was to peel the backing off and stick the sparkly paper onto regular cardstock and then put it through the die cutting machine. It still required some extra work to take off the excess that is around the edges of the words and still requires the application of glue. I don't think I will make 60+ Christmas cards like I did last year.
Such a beautiful die, I have being very happy with all of the products that Creative Expressions designers have come up with. I have ordered today their Halloween dies for next year's crafting. This is going a nice touch to my Christmas card making!
