This is a good product but, don't be deceived. The video on the product page shows putting the "drawer unit" together with rails. Not this paper shelf unit. This unit comes with pegs to mount the shelves on instead of rails. It is still a nice useable unit but the shelves do not slide out. Just be ware. It is easy to assemble and nice for 12x12 paper storage. Fits my Kallax perfectly. I'm glad I purchased it.
This purchase was a great addition tio my craft room organization. Fits perfectly into my existing storage solution.
The only problem with this product is it’s pretty expensive
This was different than the paper instructions that came with it, but it was easy to figure out and assemble. To get the angled look you start with two pegs above and go down a row. It is a little tricky taking the shelves out to access the paper without moving the pegs, so I may end up gluing them in place. Overall, I am happy with it and love that it fits in my Kallax unit.
This unit comes with 3 sides, the shelves and pins. The instructions are mainly for a different type of unit. It's almost impossible to assemble this without the pieces coming apart. Once it does, you have to start ALL over. Even after assembly, we can't keep it in one piece to insert it into the cube. Needs to have a top and/or bottom piece for leverage. I'm going to send it back.
So before you buy, please realize this is only 3 sides with shelves resting on pins and is hard to assemble.
The back board which isn’t labeled front/back or top/bottom & Is warped……which then tweaks the right board to bow inward.
The left side lines up with that side & base of IKEA box. The right side does not. I’ve tried maneuver it into alinement but it will not stay. I don’t want to tape it so I can move later if necessary.
I ordered 2 of these. Both were damaged in shipment. I was able to install them and fix the damaged corners. The plastic is not very sturdy and bows with too much paper. The IKEA inserts are a much higher quality but they are hard to find so I took a chance on these.
They will do for now.
So I bought these and they are difficult to put together and I bought two and each one was missing a metal dowel. I am returning these.
