Hi Friends,

Today I'm so excited to share a project that several of my sweet sb.com friends have asked me to create for a special retreat that we are planning to attend in Texas this fall. Several of us have been hanging out here in Brat's Latte Cafe' and swapping together for a few years now. Some of the ladies have met before, but this is the first time that several of us 'newbies' will be joining them on retreat. These ladies are all such sweet friends and I'm so excited to get the chance to met them IRL!

As part of our retreat planning, we decided to do a travel journal that we could all create together while we were on retreat. I volunteered to design a sample journal and teach a workshop so we will all have a wonderful memento from our trip. We plan to bring a few photos of ourselves, our family and home life with enough copies to share with one another. We also plan to take lots of pictures there and do a few off-site adventures too. I wanted to make plenty of room for photos, journaling and some storage for special memorabilia as well.

Well here is my finished sample journal and do hope my friends like it. I had such a fun time designing it. Its 40 pages long, so I've only posted a few pictures of it here. To see all its pages, please hop over to my blog at: www.dawnasplace01.blogspot.com and have a look.
