I'm deep into Halloween crafting now! August 1st is my kick off for Halloween sharing, so this is the first of many to follow. I didn't grow up with Halloween in New Zealand, but grew to love it when my kiddies were little in England and on our visits to family in the US. It's become one of my favourite times of the year to create for! I've ink blended a Candy Corn background for these mischievous kitties. I think they're so cute. I've coloured them with Copic Markers but ink blended the background with Distress Oxide inks. I've added a cute spider to be the focus of those side eyes from the first kitty and added some tumbling autumn leaves from a lovely Trinity Stamps embellishment mix. There are some sparkly highlights on the stamped leaves, which don't show well in the pics, but are definitely there in reality. The cute burst shapes die, is a mini slimline die from Whimsy Stamps. The full details as always are over on my Crafty Kiwi Mama blog.
