Winkflash vs. Snapfish

Can I get some pros and cons for this from your experience please??

I have used snapfish a few times and have heard that winkflash is cheaper. Just wondering if I should open an account with them as well.

i only use snapfish..they are .12 a print all the time..
i have been ordering tons of pictures from them..they come out beautiful..clear and good quality paper..they process the order immediately if i order on a weekend..by Thursday i usually have my pics
I totally recommend snapfish they have great service too!!

I have yet to order from snapfish, but I have ordered from winkflash and they are great. I have a coupon code for 50 free prints (.99 shipping!!) if you are interested, and also a coupon code for .8 prints. That way if you wanted you can try them out.

I have only used winkflash, very happy with the service and you can't beat the shipping price. I don't know if Snapfish does this but Winkflash offers two sizes that are specifically geared to digital picture ratios (I forget what they are) but by ordering the 4x5.5 and the 3x5 (not exact size) I don't have to crop and resize to the 4 x 6 ratio. The pictures directly from the camera work without extra work. JMTC. Hope this makes sense.

I've used both! I'm very impressed with Snapfish... but Winkflash is the better deal, I think. It's just all preference really... I'm sticking with Winkflash though. My prints arrived within 3 business days -- awesome!

I've tried snapfish and winkflash. Snapfish has better glossy photo quality IMHO. BUT....I prefer to use winkflash because they have better prices. I get 12 cents prints AND only 99 cent shipping. When I went to florida I had over 700 prints. Snapfish wanted to charge, $35 in shipping! and I got shipping for 99 cents from winkflash, so that's what basically sold me to stick with winkflash.

Plus, winkflash will work with you and redo your pictures if you aren't happy with the prints. it's not important to me to receive the photos right away, otherwise, I got with Sam's club.

I also use Photoworks.com and gotten good pic with them and they have deals also. I think when you sign up you get like 25 free prints

I've used Snapfish, and I've used Winkflash. Snapfish took 6 days to get to me after ordering, and Winkflash took 9 days after ordering. I ordered the SAME set of pictures from snapfish and winkflash to specifically compare quality. The snapfish pics were brighter in color, and also THICKER in paper quality. Winkflash was considerably thinner. The first thing I noticed when I opened the winkflash pkg, was the difference in color intensity. When I picked up the photo, I noticed Immediately the thinness of the photo. Yes, the winkflash was a little cheaper. You get what you pay for. I, if you haven't surmised by now, prefer Snapfish over Winkflash.

I have used both. I really like the quality of Snapfish better than Winkflash. I am sticking with Snapfish.

I have used both also, I prefer winkflash. Cheaper, and I think my pics are better quality from winkflash than snapfish...when comparing the same pic, the snapfish one looks dark.

I prefer Winflash hands down! the quality is great and there are more options.

With Snapfish's shipping it makes the photos come to about .17!!

I have used both and Winkflash was not only cheaper but faster. I ordered at 11pm on a Tuesday and 145 photos were at my house Thursday morning. Paper thickness didn't bother me I thought quality was great. More importantly however I was using Snapfish and had a problem with quality. My pics aren't always great, but I had used thier auto improvement tool and felt that was the reason for the really bad quality--same few pics developed elsewhere were fine. Thier customer service was terrible..it's still not resolved to this day. I offered to send the photos back and told them I wanted them to reprint again without auto improvement and they can't understand my complaint or wishes. I would choose winkflash any day.

I have used Snapfish and I have been really happy with the quality of the prints that I receive. I don't mind paying a little more if it means that I am going to get a better product.

I have ordered from both. They look exactly the same as quality goes, so it does make since to use Winkflash b/c of the much better price.

I prefer Winkflash hands down. Snapfish never got the same lighting quality for some reason.

I just compared my prints with those that I recieved from Snapfish, some of which are the exact same shots and I prefer the Winkflash, hands down! Wow... I kind of had this thought in my head that Snapfish had better quality prints... but they don't.

I'm definetly sticking with Winkflash. I don't think I'm even going to bother with Walgreens and they're Bi Monthly .19 a print sales...

I believe Winkflash is better in quality and overall value...Wink flash uses only fuji paper and ink...the photos are printed just as if they were from a film camera (longevity, and color are far better) and who can beat .99 cent shipping no matter how many you order!?! I looked into snapfish and it looks as if they are printing on hp paper with their inks...I have never ordered from them for this reason...but it sounds like quite a few people like them too...If you really want to know use the promo code above for 50 free if you don't like winkflash all it cost you was .99 cents! I do not stick with one site. I wait until I find a really good deal, then print a bunch. Quality seems about the same.

Snapfish uses Kodak paper not hp

Used them both and Winkflash is much better. I even gave Snapfish a second chance ... still prefer Winkflash. You can definitely tell the differences in quality.

LOL! Wow---I am surprised--I would have thought everyone would prefer Snap over Wink.
Snapfish uses thicker paper, so you immediately feel the difference. I ordered the same pics from both specifically to compare quality. The Snap pics also had noticeably more vivid color. (Unless you were holding both company's pics in your hand, you may not realize this, but it was apparent at a glance, when holding both.)

Snapfish now give you the option of picking them up at your local Walgreens, too. Mine is 25 miles away, so I had them shipped anyway for $2.50. --no biggie (and it's cheaper than gas).

For the pennies difference, and the importance of some of my pictures, I choose Snap over Wink. If I just want a large quantity of say, the same pic for Christmas cards or something, I might choose Wink. (but probably not! LOL!)

I have used both as well. When I ordered from Snapfish they told me which size prints my pics would not be good quality. Either I didn't notice it or wink didn't do that. So, when I got the ics from winkflash they were horrible quality. I uploaded the same prints to Snapfish and ordered them again. I got an error type message telling me that the quality would stink. Since I have 5 years worth of pics to print i preordered through Snap at .10 a print. Depending on how many you have sent at a time the overall charge even with shipping was less than .13 a print. I also get free prints for referring people. (Which I asked all my friends to signup even if they have no intention of ordering...may be cheating, but they may order someday). I think I have over 60 free prints now, plus 2 free rolls of film developing (Which is definitely a good deal even with shipping).

What I did was to search the net for free print offers, like the 50 free above. I ended up ordering from 4-5 different companies. Paper thickness was different with all of them. I have always been a Kodak girl so the Fuji paper doesn't thrill me. I would get the free prints from the different companies and compare yourself. From what I have read I think it comes down to a personal choice b/w the two. I did like the .99 shipping from wink, but was totally disappointed with the prints. To me I wasted .99. I've used both and I prefer Winkflash. Recently they added editing options, personally like their matte finish better than Snapfish and the shipping cost at Winkflash can't be beat! I've had my wedding photos done at both and Winkflash came out the winner.

Snapfish has editing too..and you can rotate all your pics before emailing to your friends.. (i hate to get those sideways ones...hard to tilt my head that far
I like snapfish better than wink i think they have better paper and brighter colors
