Walgreens has more pictures sizes

I have hate, hate, hated the new photo machines at Walgreens but I'm beginning to make my peace with them.

Yesterday I printed photos on their machines and some were going to be 5 x 7. The default is 4 x 6 so if you want another size you click on "More Sizes" and a list comes up.

I was surprised to see a size between wallet and 4 x 6. Maybe it was 3 1/2 x 5 - not sure but it was a new addition and I'm thrilled to see it!

Wal-Mart or Walgreens? Or both?

I would like that inbetween size. wonder if that is available online?

You caught me! It's Walgreens and I went into my first post and corrected it. Thanks for pointing it out, I confuse people enough when I don't make silly mistakes like that!

Does Walgreens have the options to print smaller sizes from their on-line program or do you have to use the kiosk in the store? I couldn't find it on-line.

I also like their collage prints, but would like all the pictures the same size and not random shapes. I couldn't figure out how to do that either.

I just bought an Epson Artisan 725 for home prints, but like to do bulk printing at Walgreens.

I haven't checked it out online. I just take my flash into the store to get photos developed and was delighted to see the different sizes.

Since I usually scrap multiple pictures on a layout, I LOVE the 3.5" by 5" size. I often find the 4X6 too big. Glad to hear the smaller size coming back... I remember when I was a kid almost 30 years ago, pictures were usually printed in the 3.5X5 size... then one day that wasn't available anymore and 4X6 became the standard.

To get my 3.5 x 5 pics, I usually use Picassa to creatd a "collage" of 2 pictures and print that on a 5x7. Cut it in half after printing and I have the perfect size.

That is a clever way of doing it!

Too bad I don't like the photos I get from my Walgreens, otherwise I'd be all over this because I love the 3.5x5 size. I already get my pictures in the digital 4x5.25 size from Snapfish which makes it easier to cut them down at times, but if I can't it's still an easier size to work with than a full 4x6 photo.

I order from Snapfish too. I haven't tried anything smaller than a 4x6. I get my prints from SAM's they're the best to me.

Wolf/Ritz camera has the 3.5x5 size and they are only $.06 a piece on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Wish we had had them here for that price.

I actually have a lot of pics that were printed "way back when" pics were printed in 3.5x5. I do find them much easier to scrap with when I'm doing multi-pic lo's and would like to be able to get that size for a lot of my digi pics...now to find a Walgreens...I think there's one about 30 miles from here.

I like their collages as well!

But, can you print collages in a uniformed size? I have bought one of thier collages, but the pictures were randonally sized. I didn't care for that. I want all the pictures the same size no matter how many pictures I use in the collage.
