Have you sewn on plastic page protectors ?

Just wondering if anyone has ever sewn sections of their plastic page protectors ? I am trying to use what I have, while trying to make something different. Just thought I would ask... thanks!

I am not sure what you mean?
    Like repair them?

I'm not really sure why you'd want to.

If you used a machine, it would go through to the opposite side.
I just can't imagine it would look good.

Besides that, page protectors are not exactly expensive to buy.

I used my soldering iron to "seal" of sections of a page I was doing...it turned out cool, I would insert an embelishment or photo and then seal around it....I am not sure how good sewing would look

Do you mean to cut something out of the page protector and make something different? I saw somewhere that someone had cut a clear pocket out of one and attached it to their layout but I don't remember the details.

I haven't done it, but I've seen somewhere (wish I could remember where) that someone had sewn different size pockets into the sheet protector to hold different sized items. Looked like they just used a straight stitch.

I made a book for my DGD and wanted it in protective pockets. I used embroidery floss to sew up the tops so the pages wouldn't come out.

I did sew on protective pages once...just to make them into two pockets to store borders.

Yes you can do it....but make sure you use a wide stitch on your machine. If the stitch is too tight, it might make the sewing almost like perforations and it might pull apart.
