Concert Ticket Scrapbook...Help?

I am looking for some direction. My husband saves all of his old concert tickets (there are quite a few of them) and I would like to make a scrapbook for him. Right now they are just in a drawer where they never get looked at. I do not have any pictures from the event, so my only starting point is the ticket. I thought about going online to the bands' websites and printing some pictures/titles. Does anyone else have any other ideas? Oh, I also think I would like to make the page look more like a collage rather than a traditional scrapbook page...I think my husband might like this look better. Thanks for your help!

I would also think to print out a picture of the band. Maybe as a title put the bands name. As for a collage put a bunch of their songs around the ticket/thru out the page.

How about one of those 5x7 albums? You could just mat each ticket nicely and add a title.

You could also mod podge a bunch together for the collage look and put them on top of a blown-up pic of the band's name or such. I don't know, it looks better in my head than in reality, I'm sure.

I love the idea of using their songs around the page and a pictures of the band. I like 6x6 albums or 8x8 albums. They are a great size and easier to fill the page. I have also done a 5x7 book but I can't find page protectors for those books and I don't like to not have my pages protected.

I think using a smaller album and printing a picture of the band would be a really good idea. Also using the band name as the title would look good too. Does your husband right down the set list? You could put that list on the page then too.

I have only made one concert page, but I printed some pics from my camera phone - they were pretty small, so then I printed a picture from the internet. I made the page in the colors on that album cover and included a list of songs as well as a story about how I ended up going to the concert.

I am working on the same thing....I plan on printing pics from their websites and also printing out the lyrics to my favorite song by the group/person. Will also journal a little about the show, who I went with, etc.....

Oh, I plan also on doing this as an 8x with a single page for each concert....will do a double page for the ones I have seen 2 times.

How about like a mosaic on black paper? You can space each ticket 1/8" apart. Perhaps you could cut some of them down too. Perhaps put journaling about one or two of the concerts in the middle. Maybe a pic of your hubby at (at least one of) the concerts.

I have TONS of movie stubs so I'm trying to think of ideas too. But this is the one I have so far. Also, you could put a small pocket on a LO and stuff most of them in there. Maybe mat some of his faves and he can tell what he liked or what was cool about those few. Anything special at all... like he got a flat tire on his way or they were a gift... or his first concert with a certain person. That sort of thing. Good luck!

well if it isnt a suprise for him ask him about his experience, if you can and if its possible look for reviews of that particular show, print out a picture of the band or any memorabilia they sold at the shows maybe their hit songs at the time that the concert was...hth

Thanks for all of your suggestions everyone. I think I am going to try a small 5 x 7 layout since I do not have a lot to put on each page.

I would go with a mini-album also. Use song lyrics like everyone has said. Maybe a playlist of the concerts. You could also use the cd covers and inserts in the LOs too. Let us know how it turns out! Oh, and embellies that go with the song titles or lyrics or the band names.

Watch some photos you try to print from websites. I've tried doing that with some and the pics came out grainy, didn't want to put them on a page.
