NEW TUTORIAL ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL

I wanted to let you know that I now have a YouTube channel. It will be a place to share with you even more tips and ideas for scrapbooking and creating the most beautiful layouts while saving money.

I like the opening scene w/ all the scrapbook pages. I did subscribe but I do want to mention ~ please don't take this the wrong way ~ I had a hard time hearing you over the background music. I like the scrappers/crafters who turn the background music off when they start scrapping so they're clear. If I can tell they're enjoying what their doing the way they talk, that's when I subscribe to their channel.

I do really appreciate critics and suggestions, is the only way to improve.
In fact the music was added during the edition process, my daughter, who is a filmmaker, does all the job. I noticed the same and she had already told me that I have to speak louder and more cheerfully. I tried to do it better in the three videos we just filmed that are to be released soon. Please don't hesitate to tell me whatever you find that could be done better.
In two of the upcoming videos I show how to make lo's in the computer and then print them.

Some others have had the same problem, I don't know why. I know nothing about posting on youtube, my daughter is the one who films, edits, and posts and she's out of the country till Sunday.

Ok, I was able to watch it just fine from your blog. I didn't have any problems hearing your voice over the music, but I'm on my DH's laptop and not on my TV.

I think you did a fantastic job and the content was VERY informative for me. I have scanned some things in the past, but I never thought about the ribbons, and some of the other things. THANKS!!

In fact I don't do digital scrapbooking because I like to see the lo's in paper AND in albums. What I do is to prepare everything on the computer and then print it. There are different options that I'll show first and then explain in my next two videos. This method has great advantages. Among them: no more adapting your lo's to the size of the embellishments you have, you can resize everything and get the page you really want., and it's so easy!
About Photoshop, I feel overwhelmed for the amount of tools it has, but as I don't need them, I just use three or four of them. I always say that it's like having a Ferrari to just go to the supermarket, but that's what works for me.

You and me both! My Music Challenge HAS to be done as a digi layout...but I simply have NOT been able to figure out the PS. I'm running out of time!!! I have 4 days to MAKE it work.....this is sad.

What I've done in the past is printed some "digi" things like papers and used them in a traditional format.

I subscribed! But my youtube username and my username here isn't the same. It has me listed as Ali Lock on my Youtube I think...
