Sissix and Cuttlebug, Interchangeable?

Sorry if this is a silly question but I haven't been all that interested in either of these machines until Tim Holtz came out with items for them. So I was wondering can the folders and dies be used in either of these machines. I can see the folders working but unsure of the dies. Someone told me that it was all interchangeable but looking for some more info. Now that I have started looking at the Cuttlebug, there are a lot of cute folders out there. Another possible addiction...great! Thank you for any info you can share!

they're all interchangeable. The sizzix stuff works in both, the cuttlebug stuff works in both. There are a few sizzix dies that might not work tho. I'd just get the sizzix big shot/big kick and go from there. It's TOTALLY worth it if you can get it with a coupon. Somewhere on this site is a compatibility chart that shows all the different machines/dies and what works with what. You can also use nestabilities in the sizzix- don't know if you can in the bug.

You can use all the Spellbinders in the Cuttlebug too. Here is the chart.

I had the original sizzix and just updated to the big shot sizzix and love it...it will used every die made.
