Tips for getting ink off hands/skin

I've been working on Christmas cards and gosh golly my hands now look like I've murdered someone... which made me wonder what tricks are out there to remove it?

Side note: It's TH Distress Ink in Fired Brick.

Washing your hands...

Seriously, I use GoJo or pumice soap. Either works great. The only time I couldn't get that stuff to work was when an ink pen exploded on me.

I actually used Comet a few days ago!

I've used Soft Scrub too. But that craft scrubbie thing is great!!

First of all make sure your had are well moisturized before you play with ink. After the fact was them with sugar or salt and soap. The sugar or salt works as an exfoliate and will clean off the ink.

I never thought about a salt/sugar scrub, great idea! I have the scrubbie in my cart too, cannot wait to get it.

I keep face wipes at my desk and constantly wipe my hands while working but I can't seem to get to the ink fast enough. Thank you all so much for your help... I know it's a simple problem, but one i have wondered about for quite a while.

If you've got nothing else a sponge with a scrubby side works well for me, especially with Dawn dish washing detergent.

A big YES for Gojo or orange pumice scrub soap. I've used it for years for the hard-to-clean stuff, it's wonderful and it actually makes your hands softer.

I also really don't mind ink stains. On hands they go away after a few hours or a day usually with the normal washing-up we do so I just don't pay attention to them. And I think they look good, a badge of activity.

My best suggestion would have been to drink copius amounts of tea; because it takes two or three days with LOTS of hand washing to get Dylusions off my fingers.

Wait...you're not supposed to have ink ALL over your fingers all the time????

Rubbing alcohol works for me every time...

Shampoo works every time for me. Well, specifically washing my hair. I don't know what it is about shampoo but I'm clean and so are my hands.

Lava soap, rubbing alcohol, baby/Handy wipes or hand sanitizer (has alcohol content).
