skin tone paper?

i got 2 of the disney princess cricut cartridges and have been itching to use them, but everytime i do i never seem to have the correct color for the skin tones. whenever i buy the paper, i get home to find out it is the wrong tone (too pale, too dark, etc). does any one have any tips? or is there a stack/slab that i can buy that has the right skin colored paper?

I bought a cream/pale color of cardstock from Target to use with the Disney carts. I normally use Bazzill , but couldn't find any to work for this!

I'd use a natural/neutral beige paper and chalk it. That way you can get the tone no matter what color the skin is.

I would cut them in white paper and colour them with promarker pens, dusky pink or blush!

Try doing this with about 50 different shades for African Americans.

We come as light as a white person with pink and/or yellow tints, ebony brown with brown and/or blue tints to charcoal black.

DickBlick used to have an entire packet of what they call multi-cultural skintones paper, it's all skin tones (caucasion, black, asian, spanish, etc etc). It's not exactly card stock but it's heavier than paper. I use it to match skin colors on all my paper piecing kits.

Just as a side-note, the multi-cultural pack does include several different tones of brown/black skin.

I found some skin toned card stock at Makingfriends.com.

I would take some off white paper and just chalk it to perfection.

I usually use CTMH's Parchment, Vanilla Cream, Brown Bag or Chocolate cardstock colors (from their Basic collection). They seem to be the most useful and sometimes use coloring pencils or chalks to change them as needed.

I know Bazill has color backs in in skin tone with a wide range of
variety check out the Superstore

I guess that did come off sounding confusing. I said 'used to' because I haven't bought any in about a year. I checked and it's still in stock.
