Black Friday Shopping!

So who else went this morning? Looking at all of the ads and deals that came in the mail, I couldn't resist going in the early am to get what I wanted. My first stop was Jc Penny's at 5am!!!

Michael's opened at 6 and I was there! The Slab 6 was on sale for $10, and the MM toolkit that I wanted was about $16. Plus the earlybirds got an additional 25% off their entire purchase - awesome! How about everyone else?

My brother and I braved it. Went to circuit city first and it was a ZOO...stood in line for over an hour...wont go there again on black friday. Then we went to Kohls, Old Navy and ACmoore. Got lots of great deals at Kohls and Old Navy...ACmoore stunk...wanted a sizzix letter set with my 60% off coupon but they were on sale so I didnt (they were not on sale in the flyer I got!)

I didn't go out this year. There wasn't anything in any of the ads worth getting up for. I normally find stuff in the ads I want, but this year I was disappointed.

I was out at 5:30. Good deals at American, Michaels, JoAnns, Office Max, Shopko, Menards,
and Walmart...Oh yea, went for lunch too

No way!! I was at work from 8-12 then went to walmart and it wasn't bad, picked up a couple of things then came back home.

I was a good girl and stayed in the bed this year....however, I did talk my friend into buying an electonic at Walmart....she got there at 4am.....I got the gift and got to sleep in!

I went out... but didn't really buy anything... I went a little crazy at Joann's.. they had the fun fur yarn on sale for $2.50 and I bought about 10 of them...

Oh man I was too scared of the mobbs and stampedes to go shopping this morning! lol.

yep! got up at 3:45 showered, cleaned off the MOUNDS of snow on my car picked up my sis and was at walmart by 4:30!

I wanted a new digi camera and they had an awesome deal on the one I wanted. My sis stayed in the toy line and got a couple cabbage patch dolls and care bears for my girls. I stood in a 15min electronic line and got a gameboy for my sis for her son, also picked up a couple dvds on sale for 3 something. we were out of there by 7, went to breakfast. had to stop at joanns, got some christmas embellies that was 30% off, and a paper/vellum/sticker pack for 7$, plus 20% of my entire perchase!

Stopped at big lots got some .99 movies. Home by 9 and back to bed while dh was just getting up with the kids!!!

dh and i got to circuit city at 5:15 a.m. picked up some panasonic phones ($20 & $80 after rebates), dvd's and ps games

then we made it to jcpenny for the snowglobes by 5:45

then we went to target, bought dvd's for $5.88 and $8.88 and a vac for my mom

after target, we ate breakfast for about 1 hour

then went to michaels (my store is small, didn't buy much, mostly some ribbon, craft boxes, ornaments) but i'll go back tomorrow to use 50% on a $8 item, anything helps

then we went to the mall - got our wedding rings inspected and what a nightmare the rest of the mall was, so we left and came home to do more packing and moving...

went this morning to staples to get a 200GB hard drive for a final cost of $30. Then went to acm, mikes, and LSS. didn't buy too much. was trying to be good!

I got:
-nothing at Circuit City, our first stop
-Polar Express at Sams Club
-video games for dh at kmart
-a $30 sb album, and the Fastenator for 1/2 off at my LSS
-all 3 Harry Potter movies for $8 each
-blank cards and mm rubon alphas at joann's--packs of 70 colored textured cards were $5.99, plus the 20% off, and I used my 1/2 off plus 20% off the mm alphas rubons

Oh, and I walked DH around the LSS and showed him everything I wanted...and he listened!

I went to Joann's and Michael's this morning. Got the Slab 6 and DCWV scrapbooking kit.
I went back to Joann's at noon to use my 50% off coupon. The line was so long. It wrapped around the store, so I left.

sounds like some good deals, i didnt get to go out because I had to take my son to the emergency room, couldnt get him into the dr so that was my only choice and it ended up only being pink eye...

however i did get some 3 something dvds at walmart this afternoon, while i was getting his perscription filled.

Ugh... not me. I stayed home, put up the Christmas deco's and cleaned. We finished all our shopping a few weeks ago, which made staying away from the stores today much easier. My mom said Wal-Mart was horrible. Ugh. Hugs, Desire'

I had tons of fun yesterday...

Staples and Circuit City both had the sales online that I wanted, so I was up at 5am online and on IM with my Dad (who was shopping the same site from 2 hours away). Got a 200GB HD from Staples for $30 and a DVD burner for DH for $20. Also got a new case for my iPod Mini (free after rebate from CC) a Memory Stick for my Dad's camera and a CF card for mine (cheap, cheap!!).

We were online until 7:30, and then DH and I went out for a bit. I got to Michael's just in time to have my 25% coupon initialed before 9, and then I checked out after 9, so I used the $30/$100 to do two orders. I got the Xyron 900 (will be a Christmas gift) for $50.40 after their 40% sale and coupon, and I treated myself to a new Fiskars paper trimmer which ended up being around $21 after their 20% sale and a coupon. The line at our Michael's goes RIGHT past the silk flowers, and since I was in line for 20 mins or so, I couldn't help but pick up a few I thought would look darling in my scrap stash. At least they were 40% off!

DH went to ********'s sporting goods where I met up with him and got new sneakers (on sale with coupon), and then we went to CompUSA. Now, I was completely expecting CompUSA to be out of what I wanted by this point, and they were out of the DVD-Rs I wanted. I wandered around the store for a bit while DH looked at the video games, and I found the two hard drives I was there for!! They had a stack of them unmarked on an endcap shelf!!! I got another 200GB for $30 AR (for my Dad also), and a 160GB for $20 AR for me!

We got home shortly after noon (and we live about 40 miles from shopping), after a quick trip to Tractor Supply to big up a Big Red Barn playset for our two year old nephew (can you tell we have no kids of our own?)

All in all, I had a fun, un-stressful day. I love shopping for doorbusters in my PJs.

I went to Joann's yesterday and it was wonderful. We are making fleece blankets for christmas and thier fleece was on sale plus all thier tins were 60% off. Great for giving candy ect. Then I picked up the limited endition making memories tool kit in the canvas rollup case for only 11.99! I opened this last night and was very please. Now I have both tool kits and they both have definite pluses and I get the best of both worlds. Picked up some other odds and ends and THEN got to use my 20% off your entire purchase including sale items! How great is that? I am well please. Going back today because they have some different fleece I need on sale today till noon. Leaving shortly. LOL

I went to WalMart to get some stuff for the kids that was on sale. I ended up just finishing my shopping for the boys so it would be done. I didn't brave any other stores because it was already too crazy to deal with LOL. But now I just need to do shopping for my dad, my husband, my niece, my coworker, and my circle journal secret santa! Which sounds like a lot but the kids were the main thing. Every one else is pretty easy. Yay. I love Christmas but I hate the crowds!!!

I was at Walmart by 5am. In and out in 30 minutes; just picked up the Star Wars lighsabers, some Fairy Barbie dolls, a Cinderella dress up set and some pairs of jeans for dh and dd. Went to Target across the street and stood in line in electronics for about 30 minutes for a Madagascar video game. Picked up some DVDs, a Real Meal oven and accesories for my daughter, a coffe pot for my mom when she comes to stay over. Ate breakfast. Went to Michael's and used my Turkey Bucks to get the Uppercase Lollipop dies for $55!!! Went to Jo Ann's and used my 50% off coupon to get this really cool package of so many sb things for $5. I had Colorbok stuff in it (label holders, tags, envies, metal words, etc.) Lunch. Toys R Us for the Dora van and that was about it.

Me! Me! Me! I'm usually in line at Walmart long before sunlight, but this year I went straight to Michael's and JoAnn's and hit the motherload!! I also went to Walmart and Target and was home by 9:00am with a car load of goodies. Thursday night I ordered several things, at BF prices at Toys R Us so all in all I had a great day!

My mother, sister, DD, and I drove 2 hours to a different town to shop. We left at 6:30am and didn't get home till 11:30pm. It was a busy day and very productive!! My DD did a great job considering all the shopping we did. We took a break at dinner time and went to Chucky Cheese for a break for DD as we all told each other, but I think we all had as much fun as my 3 year old. We got a lot of great deals and I know one lucky scrapper is getting a couple of sizzix letter sets from Santa!! WOO HOO

I got up at 1:30am (well not by choice I was up cause my 10 month old was up) and got on Kohls.com and ordered the stuff I needed that they had online, and then I went and got the rest of the stuff that wasn't online. I was there at 5am, stood in line for a half our was out of there in like 15-30 min.Got alot of Fisher Price the Peek a Blocks toys for half off, and some other gifts Then went to Target were the line was around the outside of the store and got the simpsons 6th season and family guy 2nd season on dvd for my DH and got my daughter the traveling aqua doodle, and my aunt a kenny chesney limited edtion cd for my aunt. Then we went to toys r us but the line was to long there so I didn't buy anything. Then I went to shopko were my mom bought stuff I didn't. From there we went to walmart were I bought my daughter a leap frog that teaches her how to write, some tools for my BILs,and a shot glass checker drinking game thing for my other BIL.Then I went home and wait for my mom to leave and then went back out to Michaels and bought my mom the Sizzix side kick, cause she keeps asking for mine to borrow and I got a sizzix die for myself. Then home I went.


Ohh and The week of the 28 Hobby Lobby has all sizzix half off the week of the 28th

We went to Wal*Mart. I stood in the toy line...was first one too!! But then again, we left our house at 2:30am to be there by 3:30. We were there shortly after 3am. My husband stood in line in the laptop line for his aunt!! They only had 20 and about 50 or 60 people in line. I got a cabbage patch doll, a care bear, the fly wheels, and one of each of the little people toys. My brother was the first and only one in line for the mushrooms chairs!! And my brothers girlfriend was in line in electronics. She picked up the $88 dollar hp camera for me and a memory stick that was $13.88 We got everything on our list!! We went to Wal*Mart in another town to get a few last minute things yesterday and price matched for Scooby Doo 2, Shark Tale, and Stewie Griffith. It was a good day!!

We decided not to do Black Friday shopping and instead left the house at 6am to drive 3 hours to Atlantic City for the day. Between DH & I we ended up losing $130 which isn't bad for a full day of entertainment. We did have my sister buy a treadmill for us Friday morning. She wanted something at the store anyway and we live 30 minutes away (in the direction opposite where we were going).

I did buy some ribbon & the Slab 6 at Michael's Saturday morning though. It was all half price and then 20% off.

We LOVE AC and go about once a month!! I am going next weekend, actually with my hubby, BIL, and parents. My sister is staying home to watch all the kids. Where do you stay when you go? We like the Tropicanna and Borgota.

I so wish we had Black friday. We don't get our sales until Dec 26 and I am so broke from X-Mas!!!

I hit joanns at about 9 got adorable flannel for our tradional flannel PJ's (I make all the kids new PJ's every christmas) at 96 cents a yard I always go HOG WILD!!!!! I bought fleece to make hats and scarves for the kiddos as well, the lines were long but for 4 dollars off per yard I refuse to complain!!

anyone know how to make no sew blankets and pillows out of the flees?? would lvoe to make some while on sale

Cut a square about 4" bigger than you want the pillow/blanket be and cut "fringes" all along the sides...stuff it...then tie the fringes together.

I kicked butt at Michaels! I had planned on buying myself a new Sizzlits alphabet (which were supposedly on sale for $95) and using my $30 off coupon, but when I got to the register, it rang up as $70. I asked the woman if that was the correct price and she said yes, so I got ANOTHER alphabet set, which meant I could use two of their coupons. In the end, I got two new Sizzlit alphabet sets for $100! I am so excited! Merry Christmas to me! Now, unfortunately, I promised that I wouldn't open them until Christmas morning.
