which xyron sticker maker would you buy?

I was thinking about buying one as it intrigues me---do you love it?

I am worried that if I get too liitle of one, that it will not be worth it so if I buy one, which one should I get?

I've got 3 or 4 of the little mini ones. These were given as part of goodie bags for crops at a scrapbooking convention that I went to. I use them occaisionally and have never had the need for anything larger.

I've got the small one, and have used it quite a bit. It's great for small letters, ribbon, ricrack, small photos, etc. I've got the permenant adhesive and also the repostionable adhesive. I've been considering the 2 1/2 in one and or the 510 which has magnet refills available.
Does anyone else use the 510?

I gave a lot of thought to which xyron machine to buy. I settled on the 510. If you want to do a 4x6 or even a 5x7 photo it will do that. if you have a smaller project like a small ribbon you can do that and at the same time push a different item through that you may use in the future. That way you utilize the entire width of the machine. The cartridges are more compact than the 500. Also, the 510 does permanant, repositionable, magnet, and lamination. I did not have a laminating machine before, and although I don't need it often it is there when I need it. also, keep the original box as it is convienant for storage when not making stickers!

I have the 510. It came in a package along with the 150 and a 2" cheetha runner. I got them from ShopAtHomeTV.

I like the 510 in that it does more than stickers. Although I don't use the laminating often my dh likes to. I use the 150 a lot too. I use the 510 mostly to make things stickers for running thru my sizzix.

I have the "x" and 500. I love using the "x" for turning little things as well as die cut letters into stickers and I use the 500 for bigger things I want to turn into stickers. I only buy permanent because the repositionable never sticks.

I have the X (150), the 250, the 510 and the 900. I have to say that I don't use the 900 very often, but it does come in handy to make 2-sided paper from one-sided paper. I use the other 3 the most depending on what I need adhesive on. Both the 250 and 510 do laminate and magnets too.

I have the teeny tiny "X" one and the 2 1/2" sticker maker and I don't see a need to go any larger.

the permanent adhesive isn't strong enough to hold what I need, I've made items w/ punchies and later see them scattered all over the floor!! so I wouldn't invest $$ in the larger ones and use the ones I Have with discretion.

I have all of them but use the 510 most it does just about all of the things i would need and if i need smaller but have a few items i just line them up in the 510 to save space and money$$$ I am all about more for the dollar!

I also have the "X" and It's great for ribbon, die-cut letter, etc. I use it regularly.

I have the X which I use all the time for scrappin. I use the cheetah for board books, paper bags and such. I also have a big one, can't remember which. I use it occasionally for crafts, but not much for scrappin.

i couldn't live without my x (150) i have the 510 also which i never use because it it cheaper to use my tape runner for anything that size. unless of coarse you want it for laminating or the magnets.

I have the 150, use it all the time. It's great for those little items that are so hard to hold and position. I have the 250, use it occasionally for something that doesn't fit in the 150. I use repositional--gives me a chance to change my mind. Have never had trouble with something sticking. For any item bigger than what fits in these two, I use another adhesive, normally hermafix or mini dots if it's something heavy. Btw, bought mine with 50% coupons.

I have the 150(looks like an X)and LOVE it. I also have the 250 and LOVE it. I do want a bigger one. I think that each of the sizes has a purpose. The X is great for small letters and ribbons and such. I know that Michaels has the refills and sometimes the machines for 40%(no coupon needed)on a pretty regular basis. Do you use die cuts or make them from a Sizzix?? Xyrons are awesome for those!

I have the little X (150), the 250, and the cheetah 2 inch runner. I use my 150 the most and it's only $10. It's cheaper to refill and you can put the smaller things in it without wasting as much adhesive. I also like my 250 for larger diecuts, but I don't use it half as much as I use the 150.

I like the little one the X. The price is good and all the stuff that is bigger then it is big enough to be held down with something else.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I think that I will buy the X with my M's coupon for now and purchase something bigger later if I feel the need!

I have the little x but I don't use it as much as I thought I would. It was really cheap though so it wasn't a complete waste of money. I would like something bigger to do photos and cardstock mats for photos.

I have the 150 and the 510 and I love both of them each has it´s own purpose. I use them all the time.

I have two machines the small and the 500.

I have the 510 which I love but have to use sparingly as the new cartridges cost a fortune. I also have the little one that is shaped like an X. That one is good for little things. I sometimes will run my flowers through it & they stick like a dream! I have also used it for putting on metal rimmed tags. Works great!

Love the X. Don't need anything bigger. It works for letters and die cuts that are hard to put tape on.

We have the 250 and the 500 and use both of them tons. It's amazing the things you can put in them, like pretty thick embellies and no dry time.

We use it for ribbon, journal boxes, titles, chipboard letters, chipboard anything really, primas, almost anything from our sizzix, die cuts, vellum, microscope slides, slide mounts, buttons, to make double sided tags and on and on.

We started out with the 250 and soon realized we needed a bigger one, but we still use them both. Got both with coupons, refills too, and line up small items like primas side by side to save $$. I honestly don't know how we'd scrap without them!!!!

My first machine was the 500. I really like it... and if I could afford to I would get the 510. That one has so many more features (laminating, magnets, etc) but the 500 is good. Its big enough for most things, and quite affordable if you use a coupon to get it.

I have the X and I love it. I use it all the time to adhere my Sizzix letters. Much easier than glue and with the size of the x I don't waste alot of the adhesive roll. I wouldn't use the bigger sticker machines for letters, but I would like to get one bigger for bigger things.

I have the 900 and LOVE it. I use it every single day.

I have the 510 because of its versitality of backings. I have not needed to stickerize anything larger than the capacity that the 510 offers. I also have the X for smaller items, alphabet...I'm happy with both.

my dd bought me the x essentials kit for my b-day-i love it! it has a refill for the x and some tape dispensers=i made a sticker of my dog & stuck it onto a piece of magnet for my fridge

I love mine - I got mine when it first came out from QVC. The one I got was the 510. Yes - the cartridges are expensive but you can use your AC Moore or Michael's Coupon . I also have the little sticker one - 150. The 510 is 5 inches wide - which I think is adequate and space is of an essense in most of our spaces... yes? Anyway the sticker model 150 is 1.5 inches. The nice thing about the 510 is I have made magnets and laminated as well.

I have the 900, 150, the cheetah 4 and I want to add the cheetah 2 to my collection.

The one I use the most in general layouts is the Cheetah 4, I use it to assemble most of the layout paper. I use the 150 or the "x" to attach ribbon and to prepare paper that I will use to cover chip board letters or shapes.

i just got the 900 on friday using a 50% off Coupon and i love it! i'm working on invitations right now, so it's getting a LOT of use so far, the permanent adhesive is super strong, it's hard to pull my fingers off the back of it!

I got this one because i liked that i could fit something 9" wide into it, so i can laminate some old documents for my heritage book too and perserve them.

To take up space and not waste adhesive i've been filling in the empty space with odd and ends of pictures and mats that i've been meaning to do something with as well. i"ll probably pick up the little X one of these days just for the small little things.
