so my kids went back to school and i am really bored know so i thought i would clean stuff out of the very cramped house and have a garage sale..

that is after i just took 5 bags of cloths to good will . i know so much for late thinking

but i have a ton of stuff i would like to get ride of

i have two or three crop in stlye jr.

    and one xxl

how would you price these they are in great shape been sitting in a closet since i got them have never once went to a crop i used to use them for storage before i had a place to keep my stuff

i also have alot of storage containers, misc embellies. abc stamps
    amm tote the little one

how would you all price this stuff at a garage sale and does scrap stuff go very well..

i need to find a good palce to have said garage sale also since we live way out in no mans land that is the reason i have never had one before because i am not sure people would drive all the way out here

would it be better to just list the stuff on evail bay or craigslist

how much do you thinking shipping would be on those that might just make it worth people buying.

    so what do you think??

I would buy them if I saw them at a yardsale..embellies and things. Do you have a local flea market you go could and set up at? I would price it at what you would pay for it if you saw it second hand and be willing to haggle your price! I've seen people put small embellies in little baskets for 25 or 50 cents, larger things dollar or more, grouped in baskets to dig through. you might sell them on ebay but you'd have to post lots of photos which costs money and they take a cut out of your profit or something like that. but i know the setup fee isn't that much. If you have a fleamarket near by you might do better there, especially over labor day weekend.

I think ebay is kind of a pain and not worth it unless the item is a more expensive item that is easy to ship. I have sold scrappy stuff on craigslist before.

For me, I usually sell stuff at least half off original price. I think you'll be able to get more off of it from Craigslist than a sale. I went a scrapbook garage sale and she had smaller embellies bag for great prices. A ziplock bag with prima flowers for a buck! Do you have a friends house in town you could have it at? Advertising is a big key if it isn't off of a main road.

I would try and post them on craigslist(it's free) first before doing a garage sale. I think you'll be able to sell you bigger stuff at a better price than in a garage sale. I find that most people that goes on garage sale well not pay as much. As for the little stuff I would maybe group them in theme or little kits. My friends and I did that and teenagers loved them. We sold little kits for 1-3, embellishments .10c to a dollar per pack. You can also post those on craigslist with pictures for free:)
