? regarding 4 x 4 photos

I think i would like to start scrapping with 4 x 4 photos instead of 4x6 but they do cost more. it seems when I have them developed that it would be the same thing as me cutting the 4 x6 to 4x4. ?does that make sense? I want everything that is in the 4x6 picture in the 4x4 picture, so it would have to be made smaller. I usually just use Walgreens. If I use Shutterfly will they do a nicer job? Thank you for your time!!

Shutterfly's shipping rates had gotten absolutely exploitative last time I made an order, which was a shame because that's where I switched after Walgreens badly screwed up a photo order. But yes, their quality is better. Between home repairs and a toddler, I haven't done a big photo print batch in a while, but I'm keen to try Amazon Prints when next I do print pics.

I print most of mine at home, on 4x6 paper, and just cut off the excess.
I also order from Walgreens, I like their quality just fine, and they constantly have deals so I find that as long as I use the coupons the cost is relatively cheap.
Also, an App called "Free Prints", prints 4x4s sometime a true 4x4, sometimes a 4x4 on a 4x6 then you just cut off the excess.
It depends on how it's saved on your phone I think.
They offer 85 free prints a month, you just pay for shipping.
It really is inexpensive and again I like the quality.

Shutterfly always has a lot of free shipping days. I just ordered a book and it was sent free shipping. YOu just have to keep checking, but their free shipping days are frequent.

If you take pictures with your phone check out the shutterfly app. They have free unlimited 4x4 and 4x6 prints. just pay the shipping so even if it may be more it may balance out cost wise. I have only gotten a few 4x6 prints from them so far so not sure how the 4x4's come, but the shipping was faster than they said and the quality was good.

Another vote for Free Prints app. I do not, however, have experience with their 4x4.

Another vote for the Free Prints - I think it's called
Photo Affections - and I've used them for a while now.
I have printed 4x4 with them but you have to look over
the photo really well to make sure what you want/cropped is in the photo. they've come with a white edge all around them so if you didn't want that, you could cut it off. I do think there might be a charge for 4x4 though. I can't even remember it's been so long. I also print at home occasionally.
I don't do Walgreens - Christmas photos one year - bad, bad, bad. i was totally disappointed.

Shutterfly shipping is high.
