Cuttlebug Die-Cut ? 5 1/2" x 6", dies?

What is the largest size die that will work in the Cuttlebug Die-Cut & Embossing Machine? I need to buy a new die cutting manual machine...I do not want to buy another Sizzix. I have a couple of the Bigz Dies from Sizzix...I want to know if the Cuttlebug will except 5 1/2" x 6" dies.

i just ran a large sizzix die through my cuttlebug. it's 5 1/2 inches wide and went through just fine.

So do you guys know if the big cuttlebug die works okay with the sizzix and an adapter? I've used the small ones through my sidekick and they work great but some of those larger ones are really cute!

i just tried the cat cuttlebug die in my sizzix with the adapter. it works, but the magnet on the adapter picks up the metal cuttlebug die after you make the cut.

Thanks guys! So are you guys saying that the big sizzix originals go through the cuttlebug machine too? The cuttlebugs are so thin, I didn't know the machine could take thicker stuff.

yup. just don't use the big white spacer plate when you run the thick dies through. i think i ran my thick dies through with the two "b" plates.
