Will a filing cabinet hold 12X12 paper?

Will a regular filing cabinet hold 12X12 paper? I tried it in the drawer and it fits length wise but wasnt able to try it in a cabinet to see if it would close.

I'm not sure if the paper is too tall to close the drawers - anyone know?

I'm thinking of those two drawer filing cabinets - thanks!

paper is too tall to close drawers. Sorry. Know this from experience. I have a filing cabinet that is sitting pretty much empty, thought it would work, and it doesn't.

yeah a regular filing cabinet is meant to hold letter sized paper (8.5x11) and even a legal size filing cabinet won't work (11x17). But I do use a filing cabinet for all of my scraps (that way they don't get lost amongst my full sheets of 12x12). hth

I bet you could stack it in there though.
