Im looking to buy my GF Cricut cartridges. Which ones would u want?

I am getting my girlfriend the Cricut Expression for Christmas. Its a whole bundle with 2 cartridges, the studio software, juke box, etc. I want to fill her juke box but i am not sure which carts would be good to get.
It Comes with these carts,
* Plantin Schoolbook font cartridge
* Accent Essentials Shape cartridge

What cartridges would yall want?

George and Accent Essentials

Accents comes with it. I would visit the Cricut website and view the carts. They show what the carts offer. Then look at her style.

I think George is important to get a hold of since it has the basic shapes and one alphabet on it. George comes with the smaller, original Cricut and I went for almost six months before I bought another cartridge because I was able to do so much with George.

My other favorite cartridge is Opposites Attract - I love having the two contrasting fonts.

If she is a fan of Disney, she might enjoy some of the character based cartridges. If she doesn't like "cute" things, I'd avoid the paper doll cartridges. I've also found Tags, Bags, and Boxes and Fabulous Finds to be pretty useful for a wide variety of applications.

Base Camp and Mini Monograms are two of my favorites.

I love love love All Mixed Up & Jasmine. Opposites Attract is another goodie. I just got my expression so I am still finding out which carts I like the best. Either way, your GF is gonna have a BLAST!!!! Shes one lucky lady!

She likes Disney stuff. She is a huge fan of The Nightmare before Christmas and Peanuts.

Ok. I was just on there web site and didnt find any Nightmare before Christmas or Peanut stuff. So Disney it is.

Is there any thing else besides carts that i should be getting her? I was thinking a carrying case.

I don't know if they make a case for the expression. I have that machine and have never seen a case for it.

Wow, you are quite the bf! What if you got her the machines (expression and jukebox) and then gave her a gift cert for 2 carts? That may let her have the decision because there are so many out there to choose from.

I would say the best carts I have are Paper dolls (it does so much more than paper dolls - has tons!) and alphalicious.

I wouldn't go with the carrying case unless she wont have a place to keep the machine.

You mentioned that she likes Disney. Does she like Mickey? Princesses? Tinkerbell? Cars? Pooh? There are cartridges for all of these. Some of the carts are letters (fonts), and some are the actual characters (some are both - Pooh font has baby Pooh).

If you can tell us a little bit about her pages, we could recommend some carts that she might like.

It helps! A gift certificate is a great idea. i would still like to fill up her Juke box plus give her the gift card.

I just bought Storybook today...omg!! it's gorgeous and my new fave!!! I also have Basecamp, Doodletype, Jasmine, Stamped, Walk in My Garden, Christmas Cheer

I think your list is awesome. I would stock up on the mats (both 12x12 and 12x24) and probably not get the vinyl, but that is just me. Start off slow and work your way up. You also go through mats pretty quickly if you use it a lot.

Whatever you do, she will love it!! I just got the expression and just ordered the jukebox today (can't beat 39.99). These tools are so easy to use, and can be used for so many things.

If she likes to make little gifts and things like that another good cartridge is the tags, bags, and boxes. Just thought I would mention it.

Oh my gosh, I think that your girlfriend is going to love her gift!

The only thing that I would add to the list is the Cricut tool set. All of the tools in there are very handy to have, especially the spatula.

Graphically Speaking......That's to me is a very good usable cart...That's a great gift. How very thoughtful to get he something like that.

Another vote for Storybook and I use Stamped a lot. Some extra cutting mats would be a good idea too!

I just got Calligraphy during Michael's 29.99 sale. It has a 4 different styled fonts and I am enjoying working with those. I would love to pick up home accents but can't seem to find it anywhere!

I can't believe what an awesome BF! I know my husband would not go to these lengths to figure out what I would want! This girl is so lucky!
