What IS PUFF paint????

Ok, I have seen different people say different things here. But what is actual "Puff Paint?" Is it a brand or specific kind of paint or is it just any paint with an applicator that you can use? Is perfect pearls "Puff Paint" or is puff paint something else?

Puff paint is actually a paint that puffs up. I think it's in the fabric section at the craft store, but I am not sure.

It is more of a type of paint than an actual brand-the more traditional puff paint was used for fabric decoration. Most types of puff paint has the special applicator tip, and now puff paint is used for several different uses, scrapbooking being one of them.

My favorite to use for scrapbooking are stickles which have glitter mixed in. There is also distress sticles which add a bit more sparkle and have mica bits mixed in. Both work well to add some sparkle

See I'm still confused...
So is Stickles a puff paint??? I thought it was the kind of paint that actually PUFFS up, not just paint that is dimensional.

Someone a while back said that you can heat set real puff paint and it puffs up, can you puff up Stickles?

My kids need it for school it's in the sewing section and at Wal-Mart~ Save Money and live better!

Correct, Gina, real puff paint is the kind that puffs with heat - like liquid aplique does. Other paints may be raised or dimensional, but they're not actually "puff paints."

Some people call all dimensional paints puff paints so it does get confusing

No, it's actual paint. You just heat set it though while it's wet and it poofs Here is an example-I used it on the cupcakes.

yep, it stays It's squishy like soft foam.
