Why can't you put 1/4" tape in the 700?

I believe that you can use 1/4" in the 700, you just need an adapter for it. However, for the vast majority of scrapping projects you really just don't need 1/2" tape. So my vote is for the 714 and 1/4" tape.

I have the 714 and love it. I've never had a need for a wider strip of adhesive.

I only need the thinner tape and I like red better than yellow, although I do plan to paint mine someday.

One more vote for the 714. The few times I've ever needed a wider strip, I just put down 2 lines instead of one.

714 for me, too. I think the wide strip would annoy me WAY more often than it would help me!

Thank everyone I just ordered the new ATG714 that is coming out in pink. It is not industrial made for home scrapbooking and crafting, and it cost a whole lot less.
