Xyron Sticker Maker- worth it?

I've been seriously thinking about the Xyron Sticker Maker- I really, really, really LOVE the stickers that are photos printed on matte paper and would like to make some of my own. I also read about someone using their sticker maker to make ribbon into stickers- taking away the question of "how should I attach this to my LO?"

Is it worth it? Easy to use? Do you use yours as much as you thought you would? Imput, please!

I use my little "X" Xyron sticker maker constantly.... I have used it on small embellies... chipboard pieces that are small enough to fit... and yes definately on ribbon! It gets used alot by me - especially now that I am into altering things AND doing layouts... it is very helpful again with the ribbon on altered projects.

I use mine ALL THE TIME!! For sure a must have! I have the little X and the 510. I do not know how I lived without them.

I have the tiny X and I use that one all the time, and I also have the Xyron 250 which I use less often but I do use it. The Little X one is super worth it and definitly easy to use, you should GET ONE!!

I enjoy mine! My daughter is now old enough to create her own stickers and it's easy enough for her to use. I highly recommend it!

I couldn't live without my "X"! I use QuicKutz on a lot of my LOs for titles and it's super nice to be able to run my paper through the Xyron so I can punch my letters as stickers.

I use mine ALL the time. Heck, I even once used the repositionable one to make large, easy to read wall stickers so my Gram could read which way to turn the thermostat to turn the heat or cold on.

The sticker paper is acid free so it's awesome for your cards, pages, altereds, etc. My DD and I have turned 1000 diff things into a sticker. Get the little one and a roll or 2 and try it out.

I LOVE the sticker maker. I also have the large Xyron & Xyron 510 (I use the larger one less often now that I have the 510), but I always use the sticker maker on pretty much every page for small images, pics, embelishments...pretty much anything that can fit in the sticker maker. It makes things so much easier. I'd definitely recommend it (plus the price for the maker & refills is very resonable.)

I love BOTH sticker makers. I have the 150 for thinner fibers and ribbons and I have the 250 for the wider ones. The 250 seems to me to be less messy because its not a rub and peel like the 150 but I would say both are a good investment especially if you can get them on sale or with a Coupon .

My little "X" and the 900 are two of the most important tools I have. I use them even more now with my Cricut than before. Definately a good investment.

I only have the Xyron 150 (the X), and I use it ALL the time. I find that one cartridge lasts a really long time too. I hand cut most of my titles on cs, and then run them through the X, works great and i dont have to worry about putting glue on the little details of the letters.

I've run ric rac and different ribbons in there often too, and I love how easy it is to place it on a page. I would definitely recommend it.

I just got the 150 "x" recently and I love it, I have some very tiny letters from my sizzlits and it's great to be able to run them through it rather than try to glue each letter.

I use my X all the time - I run metal embellies through it, buttons, ribbon.

oddly I do not make stickers.......

I love mine! I have the little one and then a larger one (I can't think of model #s right now...). I use it so much with my Cricut and my sizzix. Absolutely worth the investment!

Also, to make it a little more worthwhile, I pick up a cartridge or two when they are on sale!

I too have the X and LOVE IT!!!! One of the graetest inventions for scrapping out there!

I have the 250 and I like it because I sometimes run my cardstock through it before I use my die cuts so that they are already sticky and ready to place on my pages.

I too use my "X" tons!! Especially for ribbon!

I only have the Little X, but I have no idea how I attached my Sizzix letters before I had it. Esp. if you can get it with a Coupon , it is a GREAT investment.

i have the 900 and use it all the time! for layouts, ribbons, cards, altered items, die cuts and cut outs..love it!

i pick up the cartridges on sale to help with the cost, but this is one of my most used tools i have.

I love my stickermaker and my 510 series Xyron . It;s great for my quickcutz alpha's and shapes and my Cricut. You won't be sorry.

I have the x and use it for hand cut letters too!

I have the 500 and love it. I want the little x too for those tiny pieces so I don't waste as much like I do with the 500.

I have the little X one and it really comes in handy with small die cuts/embellies. I always get the refills with a Coupon .

I would say I use mine so much I buy a refill 1 a month. I could not do without it.

I just got the 250 today and I'm already in love with it! The sticky sticks better and is less messy than the other adhesives I've tried (I'm very new so I haven't tried much) and it's super easy to use. I got impatient and didn't wait for any kind of Coupon and still consider it a great deal but, if you could get a Coupon , then that would be ever better. Hope that helps.

oh a MUST. i have the "X", the 250 and the 500 - i use them all for different reasons, but by far, i use the "X" since it adds adhesive to all those tiny letters we use (and some big ones too)

I bought the little one today (150 I think) beucase of all the great reviews. I can't wait to use it with my sizzix letters. Thanks guys!

I have the "x" & the 510. The "x" gets lots of use... for tiny letters that are hard to hold on to... couldn't imagine trying to glue those with my clumsy fingers! LOL! The 510 has been used for some of the bigger projects but not as often as the "x". I think it would be a great investment for you!

I have the Xyron 500 and love it! It is so worth it! I love it for vellum, but I also use it for small letters cut from my sizzix or other small items. I've used it for ribbon a couple of times too!

I just got a Sizzix BigKick for Christmas so of course I had to get a Xyron to go with it. I bought the 'X' and the 510 (love those 50% off Coupon s) and they are sooo nifty! I can't imagine trying to sticky the small letter dies without them.

I dont use mine much but that is because I forget I have it--I have the X and the 510. I also dont like the adhesiv blobsit leaves on the edges of things but since i have discovered the adhesive eraser (and finally used it!) that isn't a problem anymore. I woudl say get an X for cheap at Walmart (refills are cheap there too) and see how you like it.

Glad to see this post I was thinking aobut getting on of these and the bigger one.

- went to get a refil for my little X today - it was $2.00 cheaper at Cord Camera and Pat Catans than it was at Hobby Lobby. I don't know why I would have thought it would be cheaper there... but it wasn't.. it was 5.99 at HL and only 3.99 at the other 2... I didn't go in any other stores though to see where else it might be cheaper.

I LOVE my X. I use it all the time. I asked for the 510 for Christmas but received the 500. I am excahging it this week. I wanted something bigger for the bigger die cuts. It just makes life easy. I am going to have to look into getting one of those adhesive erasers though.

For the sticky redidue it leaves on the side; I heard this tip:

Before removing your items from the Xyron paper, rub an embossing tool around all the edges.

Love that tip & love my Xyron . I have the 500, but am thinking about getting the X at WM!!!

I have the 250 and just love it. It is a must for the small diecuts and letters. I don't know how I survived without it.

i love mine too. i have the 250, and the big one, i think it is the 900. i only but the refills on sale or with a Coupon , sometimes i have to do without for a little while, and i hate it!! best tool i ever bought.

I use all the Xyron s I have the "X" by far the most used, the 510 (perfect for photo mats) and a bigger one that I only pull out once in a while. I think it is the 900. I think it is great for small pieces and they really stick!! Use those 40% Coupon s and watch for the sales on the refills.

I just bought the "X" this weekend. How did I live without it?!?!?!?!?!?

IF you have sticky left behind like someone mentioned use a rubber cememnt pick up. My 500 actually came with one (It was a set with an x, a 500, a paper trimmer and the rubber cement pick up). If you don't find them with the scrap stuff, go the the fine art section of the store where they have the acrylic paint and drawing pencils.

Did you ever get the Xyron sticker maker? It's the best ever!

I really like the small ones alot. Not only do they work for about 80% of the things I want to make sticky, but they are so portable. I started out with the old 850 model but now seldom use it.....it's about the size of Kansas!

I don't have the Xyron but I have the Brother sticker maker and LOVE it. I don't have a problem with sticky residue though. I buy my refill cartridges on ebay...LOL!

I never use mine. No particular reason. I should move it to a more prominent place so I think to use it.
