How do I stabilize my postbound scrapbooks?

I am reorganizing my son's scrapbooks. Through the 1.5 years that I've been scrapbooking they have gotten out of chornological order and I have too many layouts for just one album for his first year.

What can I use to stabilize the album so its not so fragile feeling? How many protectors will a K&Company album hold?

And also what are some good D-Ring albums? I'm sick of how difficult it is to move pages around in my postbound!

I stopped using K&Co because of exactly what you're saying - they felt fragile. Plus, the paper binding was tearing on one of my albums. I ended up switching to All My Memories albums. They're still post bound, but they have a solid binding. Granted, that means that they can only hold so much before they can't be expanded anymore, but I'm willing to make the tradeoff because of the stability of the album.

I converted all of my scrapbooks to the Snap and Load. I like them much better.

I think she's referring to the "3-ring binder" style albums. I recently switched to these as well because the inserts are much cheaper priced, and the albums just seem more sturdy (the album pages don't sag like they do in the post-bound albums either!)

Snap n' load is a conversion system for postbound albums. Here's a link to the superstore: http://store.scrapbook.com/p-2-sl.html

It means removing the post and putting a strap style system in their place.

I also converted mine and find them easier to use and more strudy.

I also have 3-ring binders and like that style too!

Where do you find 3 ring albums? I can never seem to find them.

I try not to put more than 30 pages in a postbound album. I use cheap albums that i pick up at Wal-mart or on sale at joanns
