Spellbinder Mats

I am putting a spellbinder wizard and a much of nestables on my wishlist. My question is, what is with all of the mats? I see four kinds in the superstore and I am at a loss as to what they do. Do they each serve a separate purpose? Help!

You will need the white spacer plate to cut the Spellbinders dies. You will need the embossing mat to...well...emboss! You can use gasket rubber from the plumbing department of the hardware store for a cheaper substitute. When I bought my Wizard long ago, the blue plate, a very small tan mat, two white plates and the white spacer plate were all included. I don't have any info regarding the charm embossing kit. You'll have to check for what all comes with it now. Sounds like a fun Christmas for you!

My guess is that this will get you started. Often the separate mats are replacement.
