Anyone use the Brother - Scan N Cut Machine 2 ?

I am thinking about purchasing the Brother - Scan N Cut Machine 2.

Does anyone use this machine?
If so, do you like it? Are there any issues with this machine that I should consider before purchasing?

I looked online for product reviews but found little feedback.
Thought I would pose my question here.

I have been looking at this machine for a while since I am soooooooooo cutting challenged. I also think it would be great solution for people who have arthritis in their hands and can't do detail cutting. I would love to use it on Graphic 45 paper especially for mini albums.

I have watched a lot of youtube videos on it. I know several sites did reviews of the first edition. One of the issues identified was registration of lighter lines. It didn't pick it up nor did it do well with really detailed paper like G45. I want to say I remember an updated video mentioning the same problem.

Given the price is right there with the cameo and explore I would have to know more about its cut file capabilities as well as image access. I think that is very limited. I think cameo and circuit have some of this scan and cut features that do as well as the brother plus their image libraries, makes them still the main choice. However if the brother ever does expand their image library I think I would choose them over the other two.

Not sure if this really helpful as I am giving you reason why I didn't buy but share your interest in it. But, I know you want to hear from people who own it and frankly I am eager to hear as well.

I got a scan n cut last year. I love it and have been impressed with what it can do so far, but I have only had minimal time to play this year as work has been crazy.

I love that you can cut around a stamped image and cut designs out of a piece of paper without fussy cutting. I should probably say this is not my only cutting system though.

Well - I have a Cricut. I am planning to buy this for other purposes. I love my Cricut... But with this machine - I will be able to draw something - anything - and this will cut it out. Or I can stamp and color - resize my stamps and it will scan and cut. I could create titles using my own handwriting - making subway type graphic text - and this will cut it out. I think I'm going to have a blast with it. The only thing that is annoying me about it is the wireless activation card. Why they charge extra for it is beyond me... It really doesn't seem fair. Not very customer friendly if you ask me.

I have the SNC1 since it was released and now the SNC2...I use mine quite often and like it. I only use it to cut out stamped images, or clip art, or things I've drawn/printed though. I don't have much feedback for svg files and such because I haven't used it for those things since I have a Cameo.

I just bought one. My main desire is cutting out the stamped images. As long as the edges are constant and together it does great and you can choose the amount of edge or cut right on the stamped line of the image. I have done some hand writing with a broad tip marker, scanned it in and cut it out. It can cut perfect shapes, too. I wanted a 4 inch circle and didn't have the right size die, cut it on the SnC perfectly. My desire to cut out a group of words is not happening, it wants to cut out the individual portions. With the "activation card" you have access the "canvas" where you can so some creating, that I am still trying to master as I had hoped I could do more word grouping. The "welding" process doesn't work for thin letters, only the thicker ones.
But, I'm learning, only had it a week and a half.

Have the Scan N Cut 2 and love it! I love being able to stamp out a whole sheet of stamped images on watercolor paper. Then, the Scan N Cut 2 cuts them all out quickly, with or without a border. This is the main reason I bought it. It also has a display that you can use to see your preloaded images, and you can send them right to your mat to cut. You can connect to your computer if you want to, but do not need to. It is a great machine.
